ABSTRACT Lipidomics and metabolomics communities comprise various informatics tools; however, software programs that can handle multimodal mass spectrometry (MS) data with structural annotations guided by the Standards Initiative are limited. Here, we provide MS-DIAL 5 to facilitate in-depth elucidation of lipids through electron-activated dissociation (EAD)-based tandem MS, as well determine their molecular localization MS imaging (MSI) using a species/tissue-specific lipidome database...

Glycyrrhiza uralensis, known for its diverse pharmacological effects, including immunoregulation, anti-tumor, and antioxidant properties, is a widely used medicinal plant found in more than 70% of traditional herbal medicines (Kampo) Japan. Although over 300 compounds have been discovered G. the molecular mechanisms underlying bioactivity remain largely unknown due to chemical diversity compounds. Here, we performed multiomics analysis incorporating untargeted hydrophilic metabolomics,...

Remifentanil is a short-acting drug with rapid onset that useful in general anesthesia. Recently, however, it has been suggested the use of opioids during surgery may cause opioid-induced hyperalgesia (OIH). Researchers have recently reported esmolol, an ultra-short-acing β1 receptor antagonist, reduces postoperative requirement for morphine and provides more effective analgesia than administration remifentanil ketamine. Hence, this study was conducted to determine whether esmolol early pain...
