Multiple studies have demonstrated that cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) effectively improves the prognosis of heart failure. CRT has been proven to improve patients' quality life and reduce risk readmission death in selected patients. Nevertheless, a notable proportion individuals undergoing showed no response. Therefore, we conducted this study describe characteristics reported outcomes 1 year after discharge Vietnam, along with predictors non-response CRT. This was multicenter,...

The aim of this study was investigate differences HFpEF HFmrEF.

Achalasia is an uncommon disorder affecting esophageal motility. Occasionally, the appearance of a dilated esophagus in achalasia may resemble extracardiac tumor when observed through transthoracic echocardiography. Left atrial compression due to extensive dilation also rare, potentially leading hemodynamic compromise. Here, we present rare case involving left caused by achalasia, with echocardiographic findings mimicking those tumor.

Abstract Background Atrial arrhythmias encompass a wide range of abnormal cardiac rhythms including atrial fibrillation, flutter, and tachycardia. Patients with heart failure reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) have increased risk arrhythmias, ultimately leading to morbidity. Baroreflex Activation Therapy (BAT) employs an implantable device increase parasympathetic nervous system activity by stimulating the carotid baroreceptors thereby reducing afterload symptoms.
