Abstract Random point generation plays an important role in assisting random sampling and is widely used various disciplines. This paper proposes a new algorithm to generate points polygon based on Triangulation. Firstly, the polygons are triangulated, then number of each triangle allocated according area. Finally, given generated inside triangle. In experiment, results showed that proposed 20 times faster than QGIS software average. And with increase complexity polygon, advantages this more obvious.
