Tumor metastasis is a leading cause of breast cancer-related death. Taxane-loaded polymeric formulations, such as Genexol PM and Nanoxel M using poly(ethylene glycol)-poly(d,l-lactide) (PEG-PLA) micelles drug carriers, have been approved for the treatment metastatic cancer. Unfortunately, physical instability PEG-PLA micelles, to poor loading, premature leakage, consequently limited delivery tumors, largely hinders their therapeutic outcome. Inspired by enantiomeric nature PLA, this work...

Abstract We aimed to investigate the pharmacokinetics, bioavailability and urinary excretion of scopolin its metabolite scopoletin in rats. An LC–tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) method for simultaneous determination rat biomatrices was developed validated over a plasma urine concentration range 5.0–2000 ng/mL. Chromatographic separation performed on Hypersil GOLD C 18 column with acetonitrile 0.1% formic acid water as mobile phase gradient elution. Detection positive ionization selected...
