Abstract Pancreas segmentation is necessary for observing lesions, analyzing anatomical structures, and predicting patient prognosis. Therefore, various studies have designed models based on convolutional neural networks pancreas segmentation. However, the deep learning approach limited by a lack of data, conducted large computed tomography dataset are scarce. this study aims to perform deep-learning-based semantic 1006 participants evaluate automatic performance via four individual...

Background and Purpose— Atherosclerotic vertebrobasilar disease is an important cause of posterior circulation stroke. To examine the role hemodynamic compromise, a prospective multicenter study, Vertebrobasilar Flow Evaluation Risk Transient Ischemic Attack Stroke (VERiTAS), was conducted. Here, we report clinical features vessel flow measurements from study cohort. Methods— Patients with recent transient ischemic attack or stroke ≥50% atherosclerotic stenosis occlusion in vertebral basilar...

Infrared (IR) sensors have been widely used as a distance measuring to estimate the position of an object since they short response time and high accura- cy. Therefore, we introduce indoor localization system using active infrared sensor passive landmarks. However, there were several types deviations from actual values. We analyzed these errors corrected them develop improved system.  Index Terms—infrared sensor, artificial landmark, multi- robot, localization, intelligent space

Purpose Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease in which autoantibodies attack the synovial membrane, causing joint inflammation. Blood tests would offer a powerful, minimally invasive method for early diagnosis of RA. However, no reliable biomarkers RA are presently available. The aim to develop by multiple reaction monitoring (MRM)‐based quantification candidate biomarkers. Experimental design Proteomics approaches commonly used identify and verify For discovery RA, SWATH...

Abstract Chronic stress has a negative impact on many fertility-related functions; thus, the recent decline in female fertility seems to be at least partially associated with increased stress. The secretion of glucocorticoids is typical endocrine response chronic and indirectly reduces uterine receptivity through hypothalamus-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis. However, addition its well-known canonical role, direct effects stress-induced various functions their underlying molecular mechanisms are...

Fine particulate matter (PM) has a small diameter but large surface area; thus, it may have broad toxic effects that subsequently damage many tissues of the human body. Interestingly, studies suggested recent decline in female fertility could be associated with increased PM exposure. However, precise mechanisms underlying negative exposure on are still debate. A previous study demonstrated resident stem cell deficiency limits cyclic regenerative capacity endometrium and increases pregnancy...
