Abstract Pro-inflammatory M1 macrophages, via activating hepatic stellate cells, contribute to liver fibrosis. In this study, we examined the mechanism and significance of a signaling axis, METTL3/MALAT1/PTBP1/USP8/TAK1, in regulating pyroptosis polarization macrophages. Liver fibrosis model was established vivo by CCl 4 treatment; induced vitro treating macrophages with lipopolysaccharide or interferon γ. Expressions METTL3, MALAT1, PTBP1, USP8, TAK1 were measured RT-PCR and/or Western blot...

Human bladder cancer (BCa) is one of the worldwide cancers in men and women populations, with etiology mechanism unknown. In our study, we constructed a weighted gene co-expression network to identify modules associated progression BCa (n = 93). significant module (R2 0.48), total 103 hub genes were identified, 4 them nodes protein-protein interaction as well. validation, COL3A1 showed higher correlation disease than any other test set (p < 0.001). Functional pathway enrichment analysis...

Background: To evaluate the pattern and prevalence trends of liver cirrhosis caused by specific etiologies. Results: Globally, number prevalent cases increased 74.53% from 1990 to 2017.The ASR 0.75 per year. The most pronounced increases were found in middle-high high socio-demographic index (SDI) regions, especially Caribbean Latin America.Among etiologies, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) related accounted for 59.46% cases. The 1.74 year, increase was observed all 5 SDI regions.In...

We propose an image-based approach for virtual clothes fitting, in which a user moves freely front of mirror (i.e., video screen) that displays the wearing superimposed garment. The motions and deformations garment are synthesized by tracking user's skeleton utilizing corresponding clips actual worn model. Our system overcomes challenges generating convincing animation. With our technique, we developed real-time using Microsoft Kinect camera demonstrates effective fitting results with variety types.

Abstract Hepatic fibrosis (HF) is caused by chronic hepatic injury and characterized stellate cells (HSCs) activation. Studies focusing on the function of exosomes derived from macrophages in HF progression are limited. This study aims to identify roles exosomal NEAT1 underlying mechanisms. Our studies showed that METTL3 targeted enhanced expression macrophages. Exosomal originating LPS-treated promoted HSCs proliferation migration, induced fibrotic proteins including collagen I, α-SMA,...

<title>Abstract</title> Aims To evaluate the safety profile of Imatinib using FAERS database, identifying both documented and undocumented adverse events. Methods data Q1 2004 to 2024 were analyzed via disproportionality analysis (ROR, PRR, BCPNN, EBGM) quantify drug-AE associations. Results A total 56,364 patients (170,659 AE occurrences) included. exhibited expected AEs (e.g., nausea, diarrhea) consistent with labels, alongside novel signals such as pubertal failure (ROR = 452.74), large...

Abstract Liver cancer is the sixth most common and third leading cause of cancer‐related death globally. Despite efforts being made in last two decades diagnosis treatment, 5‐year survival rate liver remains extremely low. TRIM21 participates metabolism, glycolysis, immunity, chemosensitivity metastasis by targeting various substrates for ubiquitination. serves as a prognosis marker human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), but mechanism which regulates HCC tumorigenesis progression elusive. Abstract YAP-TEAD complex plays an important role in tumorigenesis. 5-HT is proved to upregulate YAP expression by our previous study and VGLL4 found compete with for binding TEAD several of cancers. Here, we investigated whether could affect progression prognosis hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients regulate YAP/VGLL4 balance. We that ratio were higher HCC closely related poor prognosis. Furthermore, level, tumor size as independent risk factors study. Based on the factors, nomogram was...

Accumulated evidence has indicated that micro (mi)RNAs play vital roles in the occurrence and development of human muscle invasive bladder cancer (MIBC), however, little is known about miRNAs' regulatory networks. In present study, authors aimed to use bioinformatics analysis identify key miRNAs potential target genes, as well studying underlying mechanisms for MIBC. They collected several MIBC tissues generate a miRNA expression by microarray comparing with normal tissues, identifying 104...
