Recent X-ray study of middle-aged supernova remnants (SNRs) reveals strong radiative recombination continua (RRCs) associated with overionized plasmas, which the origin still remains uncertain. This paper reports results of a Suzaku observation the supernova remnant (SNR) Kes 79 (G33.6+0.1).
