Background The Triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index is a marker for insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome, while Helicobacter pylori linked to gastrointestinal diseases may affect risks. This study examined the association between TyG H. infection in adults. Methods Data from 3797 participants NHANES 1999–2000 cycle were analyzed. relationship was assessed using multivariate logistic regression two-piecewise model explore non-linear effects. Subgroup analyses conducted based on age, sex,...

The present study aimed to investigate the virulence diversity of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) in major ethnic groups residing Guizhou province, China, and its association with clinical outcomes. Gastric mucosal biopsies were collected from pylorus patients gastrointestinal disorders. H. was identified by colonial morphology, Gram staining, a urease test pylori‑specific 16S rRNA gene fragment PCR amplification. DNA extracted pure culture used for analysis. cytotoxin associated A (cagA),...

To explore the white light endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) features of rectal hyperplastic polyps (rHP) misdiagnosed as neuroendocrine neoplasms (rNENs). In rNENs with a diameter 5-10 mm, findings are not typical some them similar to rHP, so it is uncommon misdiagnose rHP. However, misdiagnosis rHP has been reported in literature, which can alert clinicians existence this possibility avoid over-treatment.
