The clinical course of lung transplantation (LT) is diverse: some patients present chronic allograft dysfunction (CLAD) and progressive decline in pulmonary function, but others maintain normal spirometric values active lives. The aim this study was to elucidate whether long-term LT survivors with spirometry achieve exercise capacity, identify predictive factors capacity. This a cross-sectional multicentre study, where bilateral recipients who survived at least 10 years after LT, spirometry,...

Abstract
Previous studies have identified an upregulation of human endogenous retroviruses (HERVs) in several disorders, but little is known about their role neurodegenerative dementias. In this study, we investigate a possible HERVs the pathogenesis sporadic and genetic frontotemporal dementia (FTD) Alzheimer’s disease (AD). We measured transcripts using quantitative reverse transcription PCR (qRT-PCR) post-mortem prefrontal cortex tissue samples from individuals with FTD...

Despite the effectiveness of exercise and nutritional interventions to improve aerobic capacity quality life in lung transplant (LT) recipients, their compliance is low. Strategies reduce high attrition rate (participants lost over time) a major challenge. Artificial neural networks (ANN) may assist early identification patients with risk attrition. The main objective this study evaluate usefulness ANNs identify prognostic factors for 10-week rehabilitation program after LT.

Introduction: Physical activity (PA) in COPD patients worsens after hospitalisation for an exacerbation. Little is known about the barriers and enablers of PA these events their relationship with objective measures. Methods: We prospectively recruited admitted At discharge, were instructed to wear a monitor (McRoberts© MoveMonitor) 1 week. Patients came back clinical visit which they asked list factors that may have affected (Thorpe et al. 2014). The association between...

Aims: The objective of present study was to analyze and safety Gilteritinib Quizartinib FLT3-mutated real-life context. Methods: Between December 2016 April 2021, 22 patients were treated 5 13 centers Spanish PETHEMA CETLAM groups. Results: median age 62 years (range 25; 81) 56% women. Most presented...
