Electrical resistivities of heavily doped polyacetylene and polypyrrole exhibit a wide range temperature variation as function the degree disorder. Thermal activation behavior is found for strongly disordered state, while weak dependence down to mK region weakly state. In intermediate we resistivity represented by logT dependence, in manner similar amorphous metals. As cause possibility scattering via interaction with molecular configurations possessing low-energy internal degrees freedom considered.

The metallic state of the very highly conducting doped polymers, such as polyacetylene, polypyrrole and polyaniline, is shown to have remarkable similarities. Though each these polymers has a different temperature-dependent conductivity, polymer systems similar metal-like Pauli susceptibility density states at Fermi level. Also, displays universal electronic response (dielectric constant conductivity) function frequency from microwave regime (109 Hz) through 'all conduction electron plasma...

The very highly conducting state of polypyrrole is investigated. A Drude metallic response, similar to the behavior usual metals, determined, based on coincidence dc and microwave conductivities, measurement a huge negative dielectric constant, optical determination an unusual plasma frequency in far ir. Only fraction conduction electrons participate behavior. real part function shows second near ir, attributed remaining electrons, confined due lack homogeneous, three-dimensional order.

We successfully introduced end-capping functional groups to poly(2-vinylpyridine)s by initial introduction of the on yttrium catalysts through C-H bond activation heteroaromatics and internal alkynes Y center via alkylyttrium-mediated σ-bond metathesis.

This perspective summarizes direct C-H bond functionalization reactions catalyzed by group 3-5 metal alkyl complexes. Metal-carbon bonds of metals have potentially high reactivity toward both activation through the intrinsic σ-bond metathesis pathway and insertion unsaturated organic molecules. Upon combination these two elemental steps, (hetero)aromatic compounds, methane, alkylamines, terminal alkynes, proceed C(sp)-H, C(sp(2))-H, C(sp(3))-H reactions. Here we review as catalysts for...
