Background Limb‐sparing surgery for osteosarcoma requires taking wide bony resection margins while maximizing preservation of native bone and joint. However, the optimal margin factors associated with recurrence survival outcomes in these patients are not well established. Procedure We conducted a retrospective review children adolescents newly diagnosed from 1986 to 2012, where limb‐sparing surgeries were decreased serially 5 1.5 cm. The association between other surgicopathological was...

Primary familial brain calcification (PFBC) is a rare neurological disorder. Mutations in five genes ( SLC20A2 , PDGFRB PDGFB XPR1 and MYORG ) have been linked to PFBC. Here, we used SYBR green‐based real‐time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay denaturing high‐performance liquid chromatography analysis detect copy number variants (CNVs) 20 unrelated patients with PFBC, negatively sequenced for the known genes. We identified three deletions including large de novo full gene...

Superior mesenteric arteriovenous fistula (SMAVF) is a rare vascular disorder usually following penetrating abdominal trauma or gastrointestinal surgery. Percutaneous endovascular treatment such as embolization, has been widely used to treat this disease. We report patient, who was presented with melena at the onset of his symptoms, then an acute hematemesis in shock. A SMAVF diagnosed on angiogram after large vein seen CT. The patient had successful emergency endoscopic variceal ligation...

To investigate VIP effect on the cytotoxicity of NK cell to gastric cancer cells in vitro and relation between with NKG2D signal molecules cells.NK were purified from peripheral blood mononuclear (PBMC). Before after incubated or its antagonist (D-p-Cl-Phe6,Leu17)-VIP, we detected MKN45 by MTT expressions NKG2D, DAP10, NF- κ B proteins mRNAs immunocytochemistry RT-PCR those conditions. Then analyzed cytotocicity cells.VIP could inhibit cells. However, (D-p-Cl-Phe6, Leu17)-VIP reverse...

Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is a technically difficult endoscopic procedure for treating gastrointestinal diseases. Procedure time longer, and complications such as mucosal defects, intraoperative perforation, bleeding occur frequently. Here, to solve these problems, we described the clip-with-line traction suture method that applied performed closing defects after ESD in three representative cases.

Abstract Background: Gastric cancer is one of the leading causes cancer-related mortality worldwide, with a global burden 5.7% new cases each year and 8.2% deaths. Area residence has been found to affect survival in different cancers but their impact on gastric remains largely unknown. The purpose this study address potential disparities between rural urban populations affected specifically by adenocarcinoma. Methods: We conducted retrospective study, analyzing socio-economic factors...

Nasogastric tube (NGT) placement is part of the post-operative management upper gastrointestinal perforation, but its routine use in esophageal perforation (EP) caused by foreign bodies remains unclear. The purpose this research was to investigate necessity for NGT patients with EP after endoscopic body removal.A total 323 diagnosed at First Affiliated Hospital Nanchang University between January 2012 and December 2021 were included retrospective study. Patients divided into group non-NGT...
