Multi-sensor based human activity recognition is one of the challenges in ambient intelligent environments such as smart home and city. Ordinary people their daily lives usually share a similar repetitive life pattern, also known cycle. Smart environment its multi sensors can provide assistance to by collecting data sequence activities predict desired actions. Our goal analyze recorded specific resident using deep learning with multiple sensor data. In this paper, we train collected several...
A technique for block-loss restoration in block-based image and video coding, dubbed recovery of blocks using the method alternating projections (RIBMAP), is developed. The algorithm based on orthogonal onto constraint sets a Hilbert space. For linear dimension N size block, total 8N vectors are extracted from surrounding area an /spl times/ missing block. These form library which best matching spatial information block extracted. Recovery vectors, including both undamaged restored damaged...
Genomic and transcriptomic profiling has enhanced the diagnostic treatment options for many cancers. However, molecular characteristics of parathyroid cancer remain largely unexplored, thereby limiting development new therapeutic interventions. Herein, we conducted genomic sequencing 50 tissues (12 carcinomas, 28 adenomas, 10 normal tissues) to investigate intrinsic comparative features carcinoma. We confirmed multiple two-hit mutation patterns in cell division cycle 73 (CDC73) that...
The aim of the study was to compare effects progressive reducing assistance force versus full controlled robot-assisted gait training combined with conventional physiotherapy on locomotor functions in patients subacute stroke.Inpatients stroke (N = 29; 16 men; Functional Ambulation Category score 1 ± 0.9) were randomly assigned one two groups: a group (n 15) or 14). performed sessions from 100% at outset 60% end training, whereas received throughout sessions. Both groups 5 days week for 4...
BACKGROUND:Robotic-assisted gait training (RAGT) has been proposed as a novel, promising intervention paradigm to improve function in subacute or chronic stroke neurorehabilitation. However, the benefits of RAGT combined with conventional physical therapy for recovery patients sub acute and hemiparetic remain unclear. OBJECTIVES:The aim present study was compare effect combine on hip joint kinetics, kinematics, clinical characteristics between stroke. METHODS:Seventeen (nine eight patients)...
The robotic-assisted gait training (RAGT) system has gained recognition as an innovative, effective paradigm to improve functional ambulation and activities of daily living in spinal cord injury stroke. However, the effects Walkbot with a specialized hip-knee-ankle actuator have never been examined paraplegia quadriplegia population. The aim this study was determine long-term on clinical for hips knee stiffness individuals or quadriplegia.Nine adults subacute chronic resulting from cerebral...
Program disturbance is analyzed in a simplified channel-stacked array with layer selection by multilevel operation after setting the threshold voltages (Vth) of string select transistors (SSTs)/dummy SSTs. There are additional unselected cells that should be inhibited different ways, and they have worse characteristics compared conventional NAND arrays. Technology computer-aided design simulations measurements performed to investigate mechanism cases. It found initially nonprecharged channel...
BACKGROUND:Postural instability is an important pathomarker in children with cerebral palsy (CP), and often implicated gait disturbance. OBJECTIVE:The purpose of this study was to investigate the therapeutic effects long-term robotic hippotherapy (HPOT) on postural muscles size static dynamic stability a child CP. METHODS:Ultrasonography used measure size. We also evaluated magnitude separation between center pressure (COP) mass (COM) during quiet stance initiation (GI) using eight-camera...
While the Walkbot-K robotic-assisted gait training systems have rapidly gained widespread acceptance for pediatric locomotor in children with cerebral palsy, validity and reliability system not been well established. The aim of this study is to investigate test-retest innovative exoskeletal which designed help active development learning fundamental skills impairments. electrogoniometer was used concurrently compare sagittal kinematic angular displacement data that as a reference standard...
In this paper, we propose a novel Ring-Oscillator Physical Unclonable Functions (RO-PUF) architecture using Programmable Delay Lines (PDL) in Field Gate Arrays (FPGA). Our proposed PUF uses PDL to change the propagation path inside Look Up Table (LUT), thereby changing output of RO. Depending on changed RO, different response outputs occur for same RO-PUF and challenge input. We have examined how challenge-response pairs structure according PDL. Additionally, analyzed performance changes...
This paper proposes a network-adaptive mechanism for HTTP-based video streaming over wireless/mobile networks. To provide adaptive networks, the proposed consists of throughput estimation scheme in time-variant wireless network environment and rate selection algorithm used to increase quality. The system with modules is implemented using an open source multimedia framework validated emulated emulator helps model emulate conditions based on data collected from actual experiments. experiment...
In this letter, we propose a simplified channel stacked array with layer selection by multi-level operation (SLSM) and new string select transistors (SSTs) threshold voltage (V th ) setting method that all the SSTs on each are set to targeted V values simultaneously one erase operation. To verify validity of in SLSM, TCAD simulations performed, fabricated pseudo SLSM is measured. It verified...
An image recovery algorithm based on alternating projections onto convex sets (POCS) is proposed for block-based coding. In the algorithm, vectors are extracted from surrounding neighborhood of a missing block to make hull reference recovery. The including both known and lost pixels used find optimal spectrum coefficients pixels. two other formulated application POCS. Simulation results show that recovers spatial structure at low high frequencies.
We describe \emph{Fantom}, a framework for asynchronous distributed systems. \emph{Fantom} is based on the Lachesis Protocol~\cite{lachesis01}, which uses event transmission practical Byzantine fault tolerance (pBFT) to create leaderless, scalable, Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG). further optimize \emph{Lachesis Protocol} by introducing permission-less network dynamic participation. Root selection cost optimized introduction of an n-row flag table, as well optimizing path domination...
Due to its speed and adaptability, SRAM-based Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) is extensively employed in various application fields. Since bitstreams stored external memory are vulnerable malicious attacks, most FPGA manufacturers provide bitstream encryption. In this paper, the structural differences between an unencrypted encrypted for Xilinx's series investigated. First, encryption algorithms used each described, followed by procedure generating using Xilinx ISE Vivado. Lastly,...
We propose multi-modal anomaly detection in embedded systems using time-correlated measurements of power consumption and memory accesses. Time series the processor accesses between L2 cache bus under known-good conditions are used to train one-class support vector machine (SVM) isolation forest classifiers. These side channels have complementary capabilities. Experiments on a high-fidelity emulator show that method accurately detects anomalies.
Background: Cervical dysfunction is a common pathomechanical marker in individuals with forward head posture (FHP). To overcome the limitations of isometric chin-tuck (ICT) exercise, dynamic neuromuscular stabilization (DNS), which emphasizes an entire spinal chain has recently shown promising clinical results.Objects: Purpose this study was to compare immediate effects between ICT and DNS techniques. Methods: 43 young subjects (mean age, 24.0±5.0 years) were recruited. Group FHP measured...
This paper introduces a new family of consensus protocols, namely \emph{Lachesis-class} denoted by $\mathcal{L}$, for distributed networks with guaranteed Byzantine fault tolerance. Each Lachesis protocol $L$ in $\mathcal{L}$ has complete asynchrony, is leaderless, no round robin, proof-of-work, and eventual consensus. The core concept our technology the \emph{OPERA chain}, generated protocol. In most general form, each node set $k$ neighbours preference. When receiving transactions creates...
