We demonstrate the application of ligand-to-metal charge transfer (LMCT) excitation to direct catalytic generation energetically challenging alkoxy radicals from alcohols through a coordination-LMCT-homolysis process with an abundant and inexpensive cerium salt as catalyst. This manifold provides simple efficient way utilize characteristic reactivity selectivity transient for δ-selective C-H bond functionalization. Under mild redox-neutral conditions without need prefunctionalization, this...
A general strategy for the cleavage and amination of C-C bonds cycloalkanols has been achieved through visible-light-induced photoredox catalysis utilizing a cerium(III) chloride complex. This operationally simple methodology successfully applied to wide array unstrained cyclic alcohols, represents first example catalytic bond functionalization secondary cycloalkanols.
We describe a synergistic utilization of cerium photocatalysis and photoinduced electron transfer catalysis that enables an atom- step-economical ring expansion readily available cycloalkanols. This operationally simple protocol provides rapid access to privileged synthetically challenging bridged lactones. The mild catalytic manifold has been adapted continuous flow for scale-up applications employed the concise synthesis polycyclic core nepalactones.
In the context of peptide drug development, glycosylation plays a pivotal role. Accordingly, L-type peptides were synthesized predicated upon PD-1/PD-L1 blocker DPPA-1. Subsequent resulted in production two distinct glycopeptides, D-glu-LPPA-1 and D-gal-LPPA-1, by using D-glucose (D-glu) D-galactose (D-gal), respectively, during glycosylation. Both glycopeptides significantly inhibited interaction between PD-1 PD-L1, measured half maximal inhibitory concentrations (IC50s) 75.5 μM 101.9 for...
Abstract Surface ablation temperature and linear rate are two crucial indicators for ceramic coatings under ultrahigh temperatures service, yet the results collection of such in process is difficult due to long‐period material preparation high‐cost test. In this work, four kinds machine learning models applied predict above indicators. The Random Forest (RF) model exhibits a high accuracy 87% predicting surface temperature, while low 60% rate. To optimize model, novel features constructed...
Omentum metastasis is a common occurrence in epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC), which often accompanied by ascites that facilitates the spread of EOC cells. A subpopulation fibroblasts-the cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) are important promoters tumor progression. We have shown previously CAFs exist not only omentum with but also without metastasis. In present study, using primary human isolated from normal (NFs) and (CAFs), we established vitro coculture models 3D culture model mimicking...
Soluble amyloid β-protein (Aβ) oligomers, the main neurotoxic species, are predominantly formed from monomers through a fibril-catalyzed secondary nucleation. Herein, we virtually screened an in-house library of natural compounds and discovered brazilin as dual functional compound in both Aβ42 fibrillogenesis inhibition mature fibril remodeling, leading to significant reduction cytotoxicity. The potent inhibitory effect was proven by IC50 1.5 ± 0.3 μM, which smaller than that...
Abstract (−)‐Daphnilongeranin B and (−)‐daphenylline are two hexacyclic Daphniphyllum alkaloids, each containing a complex cagelike backbone. Described herein the first asymmetric total synthesis of (−)‐daphnilongeranin bioinspired with an unusual E ring embedded in framework. The key features include intermolecular [3+2] cycloaddition, late‐stage aldol cyclization to install F daphnilongeranin B, cationic rearrangement leading tetrasubstituted benzene daphenylline.
A class of artificial K+ channels formed by pillararene-cyclodextrin hybrid molecules have been designed and synthesized. These efficiently inserted into lipid bilayers displayed high selectivity for over Na+ in fluorescence electrophysiological experiments. The cation transport the is tunable varying length linkers between pillararene cyclodexrin. shortest channel showed specific transmembrane preference all alkali metal ions (selective sequence: > Cs+ Rb+ Li+ ), rarely observed channels....
Natural redox-regulated channel proteins often utilize disulfide bonds as redox sensors for adaptive regulation of conformations in response to diverse physiological environments. In this study, we developed novel synthetic ion channels capable reversibly switching their ion-transport capabilities by incorporating multiple into artificial systems. X-ray structural analysis and electrophysiological experiments demonstrated that these disulfide-bridged molecules possess well-defined tubular...

Abstract Since its initial identification in ticks 2010, Jingmen tick virus (JMTV) has been described cattle, rodents, and primates. To better understand the diversity, evolution, transmission of JMTV, we sampled 215 ticks, 104 cattle bloods, 216 bats, 119 rodents Wenzhou city, Zhejiang Province, China as well 240 bats from Guizhou Henan Provinces. JMTV was identified 107 (from two species), 54 (eleven 8 (three 10 with prevalence levels 49.8, 11.8, 6.7, 9.6 per cent, respectively, suggesting...
The mechanism of cuproptosis has recently been reported in lipoylated proteins the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle. Besides, role copper was previously recognized cancer progression. We evaluated prognostic value cuproptosis-related gene expression hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Remarkable genes were selected both differential analysis and Kaplan-Meier survival from ninety-six using Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database. relationships between clinical characteristics performed with Wilcoxon...
Protein-ligand interaction prediction presents a significant challenge in drug design. Numerous machine learning and deep (DL) models have been developed to accurately identify docking poses of ligands active compounds against specific targets. However, current often suffer from inadequate accuracy or lack practical physical significance their scoring systems. In this research paper, we introduce IGModel, novel approach that utilizes the geometric information protein-ligand complexes as...
Nanomaterials (NMs) have been widely used in the biomedical field. To explore biological effects of graphene as one most NMs, we studied adsorption behavior and induced conformational changes proteins representing different secondary structures on graphene: β-strands (WW domain), mixed α/β structure (BBA protein), α-helices (λ-repressor). Our results indicate these model were adsorbed onto surface quickly tightly, however, varied degrees observed. During process, found β motif is a stiffer...
