The names of all mosses published up to the end August 2011 in countries Mediterranean basin, Macaronesian Islands and Bulgaria are compiled an annotated checklist. list comprises accepted synonyms, provides explanatory annotations for ambiguous disputed names. Literature references supporting reports each individual area given only taxa reported once or a single locality. A total 1168 species 81 infraspecific from whole area.
This study provides a first step toward the knowledge of alien-dominated and co-dominated plant communities present in Italy. The objective of this study is to provide an updated conservation status all liverworts and hornworts in the Italian territory, evaluated according IUCN's Guidelines for Application IUCN Red List Criteria at Regional Level. Some interesting mosses discovered at the Laga Mountains in central Apennines are reported. Myurella sibirica, a very rare moss Europe, is rediscovered Italy after more than one century.
