Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have been widely deployed in intelligent transportation systems. Battery-free WSN (BF-WSN) scavenges energy from the environment. In BF-WSN, whose nodes harvest radio frequency (RF) energy, delivering data with low consumption is important for BF-WSN to a longer runtime. Some existing baseband encoding or carrier-modulation schemes exhibit disparity (ECD) between transmitting bit 0 and 1. An example FM0 (bi-phase space) encoding, which applied backscattering...

The meadow moth, Loxostege sticticalis, is a typical agricultural pest that uses sex pheromones to mediate mating behavior; however, the mechanism underlying selectivity of its pheromone-binding proteins (PBPs) remains unknown. In this study, LstiPBP1 and LstiPBP3 were cloned, expressed, purified, fluorescence binding assay showed binds major pheromone component, E-11-tetradecenol (E11-14:OH), with high affinity; moreover, E11-14:OH could evoke significant antennal electrophysiological...

Backscatter communications have been widely applied in wirelessly powered networks. Energy constraint forces the nodes to only backscatter a few bits once, causing unable be applications that require deliver more data (e.g., an image). It is significant save energy for so can with limited energy. In this letter, energy-efficient code based communication (CBBC) proposed, which makes use of consumption disparity between transmitting/receiving bit 0 and 1 existing communications. The prefix...

Underground Nuclear Astrophysics Experiment in China (JUNA) has been commissioned by taking the advantage of ultra-low background Jinping underground lab. High current mA level 400 KV accelerator with an ECR source and BGO detectors were commissioned. JUNA studies directly a number nuclear reactions important to hydrostatic stellar evolution at their relevant energies. Organic farming has been praised for many sound reasons, but there are some negative effects of organic practices. Research on the interactions between soil insect pests and practices is still scarce, although such might sometimes lead to severe crop damage. Here, we explore influences inputs key host crops oviposition behavior likely infest crops. We also shed light factors driving this analyze 4 yr data from an on-farm investigation. Our study offers clear support idea that decomposing...

In nuclear astrophysics, $^{141}\mathrm{Pr}$ is mainly produced by an $s$ process, which has a neutron magic number $(N=82)$ leading to its low capture cross section and strongly affecting the process. Its important input parameter for astrophysical network calculations. According EXFOR database, measurement precision $^{141}\mathrm{Pr}(n,\ensuremath{\gamma})$ should be improved in resolved unresolved resonance region. In the standard Big Bang nucleosynthesis (SBBN) model, lithium puzzle has attracted intense interest over past few decades, but still not been solved. Conventionally, approach is to include more reactions flowing into or out of lithium, and study potential effects those which were previously considered. 7Be(d, 3He)6Li a reaction that only produces 6Li also destroys 7Be, decays 7Li, thereby affecting 7Li indirectly. Therefore, this could alleviate discrepancy if its rate sufficiently high....

The 'lithium problem' in Big Bang nucleosynthesis (BBN) has recently focused on reactions involving 7Be. 6Li()7Be reaction can provide us not only with information about 6Li destruction but also 7Be production. In the present work, proton spectroscopic factor is extracted to be 0.70 ± 0.17 from angular distribution of 7Be(d, 3He)6Li at . This value then used compute direct component astrophysical 6Li()7Beg.s. S(E) factors and determine resonance parameters total factors.
