To better understand the effect of different disinfectants on types and quantities microorganisms in a broiler chicken house, five disinfectants, including ozone, available chlorine, quaternary ammonium salt, glutaraldehyde, mixed disinfectant, were used. The house microbial communities analyzed by high-throughput sequencing combined with air sampling. results showed that concentrations airborne aerobic bacteria empty houses after application significantly reduced compared to untreated...

Abstract A highly efficient and ligand‐free copper(I) sulfide catalyzed cross‐coupling reaction of aryl iodides with diaryl disulfides was developed. With only 1 mol‐% Cu 2 S as the catalyst, iron powder reductant, K CO 3 base, reacted in DMSO at 90–110 °C for 18–24 h under an atmosphere argon to give corresponding sulfides good excellent yields. In addition, catalyst is recyclable reusable some loss activity.

Viruses can manipulate the host metabolism to achieve optimal replication conditions, and central carbon (CCM) pathways are often crucial in determining viral infections. Feline calicivirus (FCV), a diminutive RNA agent, induces upper respiratory tract infections feline hosts, with highly pathogenic strains capable of precipitating systemic subsequent cell necrosis, thereby presenting formidable challenge survival protection. However, relationship between FCV remains unclear, precise...

Sitophilus zeamais is a highly destructive pest of stored grains worldwide. To develop novel RNA insecticides, the double-stranded S. cytochrome c oxidase (dsSzCOXs: dsSzCOXI, dsSzCOXII, and dsSzCOXIII) was successfully expressed in pET28a-BL21(DE3)-RNaseIII- system remarkably downregulated expression level SzCOXs through injection or feeding methods, leading to high mortalities both larvae adults. Under their optimal conditions (isopropyl β-d-thiogalactoside, 0.6 mM), yields dsSzCOXI (at 28...

Spinal cord injury is characterized by high incidence and disability, the specific targets drugs have not yet been explored. Lipid droplet a type of organelles that regulates lipid metabolism oxidative stress. And regulatory mechanisms droplets on spinal remain unclear. Herein, it found GTPase activation Annexin A7 (ANXA7) promotes up-regulation genes related to formation. ANXA7 can interact with peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARγ) enhance stability PPARγ, promote...

Biochar has been shown to influence soil microbial communities in terms of their abundance and diversity. However, the relationship among abundance, structure C metabolic traits is not well studied under biochar application. Here it was hypothesized that addition with intrinsic properties (i.e., porous structure) could affect proliferation culturable microbes genetic bacterial communities. In meantime, presence available organic carbon may utilization capacities community Biolog Eco-plates....

Rice blast caused by Magnaporthe grisea is considered to be one of the most devastating diseases in rice-growing regions. In order search for an effective agent protect against rice infection, elicitor activity algino-oligosaccharides was evaluated germinating rice, which accumulation oryzalexin C could detected sensitively. The maximal seedlings when fractions alginate degradation products with a degree polymerization 7.9 (S3) and 6.5 (S4) were used as elicitors. Algino-oligosaccharides...

Salmonella is a major zoonotic foodborne pathogen that persists on poultry farms worldwide. The present study aimed to survey the prevalence of and antimicrobial resistance enterica serovar Enteritidis (S. Enteritidis) recovered from broiler chickens in Shandong Province, China. A total 280 isolates were identified 923 chicken samples between 2013 2018. Among isolates, S. (n = 128, 45.7%) was predominant serovar, high rates piperacillin (PIP) 123, 96.1%), ampicillin (AM) 122, 95.3%),...

Crops assemble and rely on rhizosphere-associated microbiomes for plant nutrition, which is crucial to their productivity. Historically, excessive nitrogen fertilization did not result in continuously increasing yields but rather caused environmental issues. A comprehensive understanding should be developed regarding the ways crops shape under conditions of increased fertilization. In this study, we applied 16S 18S ribosomal RNA gene profiling characterize bacterial fungal communities bulk...
