ABSTRACT Two spray dryers were tested to obtain powders from concentrated juices of blackcurrant, apricot, raspberry, with different maltodextrins as drying-aid agents. Composition fruit and dextrose equivalent for maltodextrin are considered. Best results obtained a ratio juice DE6 65/35 60/40 apricot 55/45 low air temperatures (160–90°C). A compromise must be found between the additives, drying yield cost raw materials.
ABSTRACT Leaflash spray drying technique was used to encapsulate a mixture of two volatile products, citral and linalyl acetate in the proportion 80:20 (w/w). The support materials were gum arabic maltodextrin different proportions. Very short air product contact time during process allowed encapsulation these compounds using high inlet temperature (300‐400°C) without any adverse effect on chemical properties. Emulsions atomized up 60% total solids concentration. In this range concentration,...
H3K27me3 histone marks shape the inhibition of gene transcription. In prostate cancer, deregulation might play a role in tumor progression. We investigated genome-wide methylation profile using chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) and 2X400K promoter microarrays to identify differentially-enriched regions biopsy samples from cancer patients. were assessed 34 tumors: 11 with Gleason score > 7 (GS 7), 10 ≤ 13 morphologically normal samples. Here, profiling identified an average 386...
The consequences of land use changes are among the most cited causes emerging infectious diseases because they can modify ecology and transmission pathogens. This is particularly true for vector-borne which depend on abiotic (e.g. climate) biotic conditions (i.e. hosts vectors). In this study, we investigated how landscape features affect abundances small mammals Ixodes ricinus ticks, influence their relationship. From 2012 to 2014, questing I. ticks were sampled in spring autumn 24 sites...
Ixodes ricinus ticks (Acari: Ixodidae) are the most important vector for Lyme borreliosis in Europe. As climate change might affect their distributions and activities, this study aimed to determine effects of environmental factors, i.e., meteorological, bioclimatic, habitat characteristics on host-seeking (questing) activity I. nymphs, an stage disease transmissions, across diverse climatic types France over 8 years. Questing was observed using a repeated removal sampling with cloth-dragging...
In Europe, Ixodes ticks are major vectors for both human and livestock pathogens, with the most widespread species, ricinus , being responsible transmission of pathogenic agent Lyme disease, Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato. The disease is endemic in France, where number new cases per year was estimated at 39,052 2023. I. widely distributed particularly Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, its abundance not always well known. Often, estimation questing tick based on a single observation from several sites;...
It is well established that genetic and epigenetic alterations are common events in prostate cancer, which may lead to aberrant expression of critical genes. The importance mechanisms cancer carcinogenesis increasingly evident. In this study, the focus will be on histone modifications primary objectives map H3K27me3 marks quantify RAR beta 2, ER alpha, SRC3, RGMA, PGR, EZH2 gene expressions tissues compared normal tissues. addition, a data analysis was made connection with...
