The death of dopaminergic neurons is a dominant factor during the occurrence and development Parkinson's disease (PD). Previous studies demonstrated that ferroptosis implicated in neurons. Besides, polyphenols have been proven to be effective preventing This work aims explore neuroprotective effect mechanism thonningianin A (Th A), polyphenolic compound natural plant foods, against 6-hydroxydopamine (6-OHDA)-induced cells. results molecular docking other binding assays collectively Th can...

Atractylodes macrocephala rhizome (called Bái-zhú in China) has a long history as functional food and herbal medicine East Asia, especially China. Sesquiterpenoids are one of the main active compounds rhizome. This study aimed to explore unknown sesquiterpenoids A. using molecular networking strategy. Two new nitrogen-containing sesquiterpenoids, atractylenolactam A (1) B (2), 2 sesquiterpene lactones, 8-methoxy-atractylenolide V (6) 15-acetoxyl atractylenolide III (7), along with 12 known...

Five main compounds, including two iridoid glycosides (catalposide, verproside) and three phenolic compounds (luteolin, 4-hydroxy benzoic acid, 3,4-dihydroxy acid), were separated prepared from the crude extract of Veronica ciliata by high-speed countercurrent chromatography. n-Hexane/n-butanol/water (1.5:5:5, v/v/v) was used for separation catalposide verproside. (3:2:5, luteolin, acid acid. The head-to-tail elution mode with a flow rate 5.0 mL/min rotary speed 800 rpm. Finally, total 1.28...

Veronica ciliata Fisch. has traditionally been used in Tibetan medicine for the treatment of hepatitis, cholecystitis, rheumatism, and urticaria. We analyzed chemical composition iridoid glycosides fraction (IGF) isolated from V. evaluated antioxidant hepatoprotective properties. The IGF was separated by high-speed countercurrent chromatography (HSCCC) main compounds were identified ultra-performance liquid coupled to a photodiode array. determined vitro ability through radical scavenging...

Idesia polycarpa Maxim. var. vestita Diels (I. polycarpa) is well known as an edible oil plant which contains abundant linoleic acid and polyphenols. The objective of this study was to maximize the by-product defatted fruit I. polycarpa. We found that fraction D ethyl acetate extract (EF-D) contained more polyphenols, contribute its strong antioxidant activity by assays (DPPH, ABTS, FRAP). Meanwhile, EF-D showed a significant lipid-lowering effect on oleic acid- (OA-) induced hepatic...

Excessive amounts of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the body are a key factor development hepatopathies such as hepatitis. The aim this study was to assess antioxidation effect vitro and hepatoprotective activity active fragment Veronica ciliata Fisch. (VCAF). Antioxidant assays (DPPH, superoxide, hydroxyl radicals scavenging) were conducted, effects through application tert ‐butyl hydroperoxide‐ (t‐BHP‐) induced oxidative stress injury HepG2 cells evaluated. VCAF had high phenolic...

We systematically investigated the Co-co-doping effects in Ca0.8La0.2FeAs2 superconductors. The superconducting transition temperature (Tc) decreases almost linearly with increasing Co content. Simultaneously, it is found that (Ca,La)112 phase so sensitive to doping level chemical separation becomes more and apparent as a result of formation (Ca,La)122 phase. maximum for 112 seems very low, indicating quite cruel growth condition compared other IBSs.

Abstract Alzheimer's disease (AD) is characterized by a complex pathogenesis, limited diagnostic methods, and lack of effective therapeutic drugs in clinical settings, posing significant challenges modern medical research. Bioinformatics offers new perspectives for identifying key pathological biomarkers AD, analyzing differentially expressed genes screening drug targets against studying the mechanisms AD discovering novel anti-AD drugs. However, data preprocessing statistical analysis...
