Abstract: The increasing prevalence of brain injuries resulting in cognitive and motor function impairments poses a substantial global medical challenge. Nerve repair therapies offer promise for addressing injury-related disorders. Ferroptosis, as cell death mechanism associated with oxidative stress inflammation. Certain ferroptosis inhibitors, such iron chelators antioxidants, exhibit therapeutic potential conditions. This review explores the fundamental processes mechanisms that regulate...

Scaffolds mimicking hierarchical features of native extracellular matrices may facilitate cell growth and anatomical tissue regeneration. In our previous study, esophageal basement membrane (BM) was shown to be composed interwoven fibers with mean diameter 66 ± 24 nm (range 28–165 nm) abundant pores unequal sizes. The main matrix (ECM) contents found in porcine BM were collagen IV, laminin, entactin, proteoglycans. this work, biodegradable polycaprolactone (PCL) silk fibroin (SF) spun...

Lytic polysaccharide monooxygenases (LPMOs) have the potential to improve recalcitrant hydrolysis by oxidizing cleavage of glycosidic bond. Streptomyces species are major chitin decomposers in soil ecological environments and encode multiple lpmo genes. In this study, we demonstrated that transcription gene, Sclpmo10G, coelicolor A3(2) (ScA3(2)) strain is strongly induced chitin. The ScLPMO10G protein was further expressed Escherichia coli characterized vitro. showed oxidation activity...

We suggested using an Azure Kinect sensor to evaluate the dynamic balance ability of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Two metrics, i.e., body mass center fluctuation (BMCF) and upper limb swing (ULS), were extracted from trajectories 32 joints' movement during beam test. Findings showed that ASD had lower BMCF ULS than typically developing (TD) children. Furthermore, prediction achieved a maximal accuracy 79% AUC value 0.69.
