Proteins and phenolic compounds are common components in foods that readily interact with each other to yield complexes, leading changes the functional properties. In this study, we investigated effect of covalent conjugation rice protein hydrolysates (RPH) chlorogenic acid (CA) on structural properties RPH. Three RPH-CA conjugates were prepared by alkaline, enzyme, free radical methods, respectively. Covalent decreased content amino, thiol, tyrosine groups, increased amount CA bounds from...
The alternative pathway (AP) of the complement system is a key contributor to pathogenesis several human diseases including age-related macular degeneration, paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS), and various glomerular diseases. serine protease factor B (FB) node in AP integral formation C3 C5 convertase. Despite prominent role FB AP, selective orally bioavailable inhibitors, beyond our own efforts, have not been reported previously. Herein we...
Rice selenium-containing peptide TSeMMM (T) with immunomodulatory functions was isolated from selenium-enriched rice protein hydrolysates. However, its biological activity is difficult to be protected in complex digestive environments. In this study, T encapsulated within zein and gum arabian (GA) through ultrasound treatment improve bioactivity bioavailability. The zein@T/GA nanoparticles were formed using ultrasonic at 360 W for 5 min a 59.9% T-encapsulation efficiency. vitro digestion...
ZTGNs reversed the organ indices and GSH levels, normalized cytokines levels mRNA expression, enriched intestinal flora diversity in mice. This proves that might enhance immunomodulatory properties of selenium-containing peptides.
Natural soy oleosomes are known to have a remarkable stability, given the advantage of their sophisticated membrane. The aim present study is examine concept fabricating β-carotene emulsion stabilized by oleosin (OLE) and lecithin (LEC) mixtures mimicking membrane composition while providing preferable stability bioaccessibility. For this, fabricated was characterized in terms droplet size distribution, structure, digestion (release absorption lipophilic β-carotene). Compared SPI/LEC (10 :...
Abstract Molybdenum oxide nanomaterials have become a popular nanomaterial while its catalysis behavior especially the bio‐catalysis property is little understood, even though molybdenum has been employed as key cofactor in several important enzymes biological system. On basis of these, Fenton and peroxidase‐like quantum dots (MoO x QDs) with mixed valence state was carefully investigated using tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) methyl orange (MO) substrates. The results showed that MoO QDs not only...
Summary Lead (Pb), a well‐known toxic metal, has potential of adverse effects on human health. Selenium (Se) can reduce the toxicity caused by heavy metals. In this study, we investigated protection mechanism purified Se‐enriched rice protein hydrolysates (SPHs‐2) Pb 2+ ‐induced cytotoxicity. A Caco‐2 cell model was established to characterise effect SPHs‐2 absorption in simulated small intestine. Results showed that 1000 μg mL −1 treatment could significantly increase viability 19.43%...
The influence of magnesium to phosphate weight ratios (M/P ratio), borax content, water cement ratio (w/c fly ash, slag on drying shrinkage is examined. The results show that the cementcan be affected at some extent by M/P ratio, w/c ratio, boraxcontent. Both former two factors and effects are significant. It was found decrease with increase ratio, borax ratio. If 10%, 15% offly ashinstead added, rate decreases increases dosage ash. When replaced hydration 20d reachs11.2×10 -5 . 10% cementis...
In this work, we use 3D finite difference time domain (3D-FDTD) to calculate the plasmon resonance effect for a single silver hemisphere in which palsmon line shape have distinct peaks when particles are located on glass substrate. The dependence of size and ratio height over radius characterized, it is found that surface interface played an important role plasman resonace hemisphere.
Objective: To explore and investigate the molecular mechanism of TLR4 mediated T cell immune effect in transfusion-induced acute injury based on SLIT2/ROBO4 signaling pathway. Methods: Sixty C57/BL6 male mice (Wild type, WT) aged 8 to 10 weeks were randomly divided into 5 groups: 1) normal type WT, 2) LPS control group WT lipopolysaccharide, 3) TRALI (LPS + MHC-I mAb), 4) (TLR4 antibody) lipopolysaccharide group, 5) mAb). Mice dosed with (0.1 mg / kg), mAb (2 kg) was injected tail vein 24...
