Radiation dose is central to much of radiobiological research. Precision and accuracy measurements reporting the measurement details should be sufficient allow work interpreted repeated valid comparisons made, both in same laboratory by other laboratories. Despite this, a careful reading published manuscripts suggests that radiation dosimetry setup for radiobiology research frequently inadequate, thus undermining reliability reproducibility findings.
