Camellia oil obtained from oleifera seeds is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and unique flavors, has become a rising high-quality edible vegetable the world. However, honored as "Oriental olive oil", was widely adulterated for situation of high price short supply. At present, identification plant mainly based on composition content acids. Here, acid main oils were determined. It found that are susceptible to change origin, variety climate raw materials, could even be made extremely similar...

Ganoderma lucidum has high commercial value because it produces many active compounds, such as ganoderic acids (GAs). Salicylic acid (SA) was previously reported to induce the biosynthesis of GA in G. lucidum. In this study, we found that SA induces by increasing ROS production, and further research NADPH oxidase-silenced strains exhibited a partial reduction response SA, resulting induction increased production. Furthermore, localization shows mitochondria are sources production treatment....

ABSTRACT We previously reported that high temperature impacts ganoderic acid (GA) biosynthesis in Ganoderma lucidum via Ca 2+ . Therefore, to further understand the signal-regulating network of organism's response heat stress (HS), we examined role nitric oxide (NO) under HS. After HS treatment, NO level was significantly increased by 120% compared control conditions. The application a scavenger resulted 25% increase GA with found sample treated only Additionally, donor 30% lower content...

The intrinsic relationship between biscuit quality and starch physicochemical properties was studied using a set of wheat lines with HMW-GS absence Ningmai 9. results showed that, compared wild type, had higher amylose content, volume proportion A-type granule, relative crystallinity (RC), peak final viscosities, gelatinization temperature (Tp) conclusion (Tc), consistency coefficient (K) flour paste. Conversely, lower amylopectin content ratio absorbance 1047/1022 cm−1 (IR2) were found in...

High-molecular-weight glutenin subunits (HMW-GSs) are important components of gluten, which determine the grain quality wheat. In this study, we investigated effects nitrogen (N) fertilizer application on synthesis and accumulation protein gluten in wheat lines with different HMW-GSs absent. The results showed that absence HMW-GS variety Ningmai 9 significantly decreased contents macropolymer (GMP), compositions, HMW-GS/LMW-GS. reduction glutenins was compensated to some extent by an...

Starch-gluten interactions are affected by biopolymer type and processing. However, the differentiation mechanisms for gluten-starch during heating have not been illuminated. The effects of glutens from two different wheat flours (a weak-gluten (Yangmai 22, Y22) a medium-strong gluten 16, Y16)) on starch's (S) structural physicochemical properties their molecular were investigated in this study. results showed that hindered gelatinization swelling starch when temperature was below 75 °C, due...
