Abstract Background Patients with systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (sJIA) exhibit highly heterogeneous pain manifestations, which significantly impact their quality of life and disease prognosis. An understanding the phenotypes for this disorder influencing factors is crucial individualized management. Objective To explore newly diagnosed sJIA patients via latent class analysis (LCA), analyse these phenotypes, evaluate impacts different on short-term inpatient outcomes. Methods A...
The aim of the present study was to analyze clinical significance dynamic monitoring blood lactic acid levels, oxygenation index and C‑reactive protein (CRP) levels in patients with severe pneumonia. data 34 cases pneumonia were collected. According outcome, divided into a survival group (n=26) fatality (n=8). Various factors, including level, index, CRP level acute physiology chronic health evaluation II (APACHE II) score, retrospectively analyzed order investigate whether these values had...
In this study, a rat model with acetic acid-induced PI-IBS was used to study the role of HXZQ oral liquid in repairing colonic epithelial barrier and reducing intestinal permeability. Pathomorphism tissue, ultrastructure, DAO activity serum, protein expression ZO-1 occludin were examined investigate protective effect mechanisms on mucosa then present experimental support for its use prevention cure PI-IBS.
The aim of this retrospective study was to explore the risk factors and clinical characteristics related neonatal fulminant necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC). From 1 November 2007 31 October 2017, 352 neonates who were diagnosed with NEC (Bell stage ≥ΠB) admitted Children's Hospital Chongqing Medical University enrolled. Among these patients, 112 (31.82%) cases fulfilled definition NEC, 62.5% (70/112) presented a poor prognosis. All survivors in group underwent surgery. Those more likely have...
ABSTRACT The neutrophil : lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet (PLR), C‐reactive protein albumin (CAR), and fibrinogen (AFR) have been considered as useful inflammatory biomarkers. However, their roles in Stevens–Johnson Syndrome (SJS)/toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) still remain unclear. This study aimed to test whether NLR, PLR, CAR, AFR serve predictive markers of disease severity systemic inflammation patients with SJS/TEN. retrospective included 40 SJS/TEN 60 healthy controls. correlation...
Background: Few epidemiologic studies on acute kidney injury (AKI) have focused the older adult population. This study investigated clinical features, risk factors, and burden in this population. Methods: A retrospective observational was performed with data of inpatients at Guangdong Geriatrics Institute from 1 August 2012, to 31 December 2016. AKI classified into community-acquired (CA-AKI) hospital-acquired (HA-AKI), factors for were ranked by weight. The relationships between adverse...
The effects of anesthetics on liver and kidney functions after infantile living-related transplantation (LRLT) are unclear. This study aimed to investigate the propofol-based total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA) or desflurane-based inhalation postoperative in infant recipients LRLT evaluate hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury (HIRI).
Abstract Elevated serum procalcitonin ( PCT ) level has been reported to be a diagnostic index in systemic bacterial infections, but it can also increase some non‐infectious inflammatory diseases. Stevens–Johnson syndrome SJS )/toxic epidermal necrolysis TEN is rare immune‐mediated cutaneous mucosal reaction which susceptible infections and may have elevated levels. The value of not assessed series / patients. We aimed investigate the levels patients with (systemic infected group), skin...
Our study aimed to explore potential prognostic factors in Stevens-Johnson syndrome/toxic epidermal necrolysis (SJS/TEN) patients from easily accessible laboratory data and investigate whether the combination of these indicators with a score for toxic (SCORTEN) can improve predictive value.
Background: Neonatal appendicitis (NA) is rarely diagnosed due to lack of specific symptoms and signs. The aim this study share our experience with NA.Methods: We performed a retrospective data review from electronic medical records patients admitted at Children’s Hospital Chongqing Medical University (CHCMU) the clinical diagnosis NA October 2001 July 2018.Results: Of 31 neonates, male neonates (n=20) accounted for 64.5%. Abdominal distension anorexia were most common features (61.3%,...
Abstract: Cervical cancer stands as one of the most common gynecologic malignancies in developing countries; however, cutaneous metastasis from cervical is a rare occurrence. In this study, we present case involving 44-year-old woman diagnosed with International Federation Gynecology and Obstetrics stage IIA gastric-type endocervical adenocarcinoma. Two years later, after undergoing radical hysterectomy chemoradiation therapy, she exhibited vulvar region.
Objective To investigate effects of early hyperbaric oxygen and hypobaric intervention on the levels calcitonin gene related protein (CGRP) endothelin ( ET) in rats environment, to compare two methods. Methods The experimental Wistar were randomly divided into six groups: (1) Control group, (2) 3800 m(2 h) (3) m (3 d) (4) (7 (5) Hyperbaric (6) Hypobaric environment group. Firstly, second, third fourth groups placed a chamber, which pressure was decreased at equal speed from 0. 1 MPa 062 MPa,...
Statins play an important role in prevention of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases for their excellent lipid-lowing efficacy. However, statins can increase the risk occurrence acute kidney injury (AKI) with significant dose correlation. related AKI is associated tubular necrosis when rhabdomyolysis occurred. lead to proteinuria or elevated serum creatinine levels, most changes are transient. caused by protein malabsorption renal tubules. Renal safety different, rosuvastatin...
Objective To evaluate the effect of different blood purification modes on patients with hyperlipidemic pancreatitis (HLP).Methods 28 HLP in our department were enrolled into this study from January 2010 to June 2013.The randomly divided HP/CVVH group (15 patients) and CVVH (13 patients). The clinical symptoms signs two groups observed. The plasma levels TNF-α,IL-6,IL-8,blood triglyceride APACHE Ⅱ score before after treatment compared between groups. The duration mechanical ventilation,ICU stay...
Abstract Objective This study aimed to observe the fluorescence characteristics of acne inflammatory skin lesions in 5‐aminolevulinic acid‐based photodynamic diagnosis (ALA‐PDD), and discuss viability using ALA‐PDD evaluate explore advantages predicting subclinical lesions. Methods The OBSERV facial detector collected photographs 20 patients before after optical intra‐tissue fiber irradiation therapy (OFI‐ALA‐PDT) both white light patterns. were treated once a week for four consecutive weeks...
