Abstract Background Elderly patients with sepsis have many comorbidities, and the clinical reaction is not obvious. Thus, treatment difficult. We planned to use laboratory test results comorbidities of elderly from a large-scale public database Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care (MIMIC) IV build random survival forest (RSF) model evaluate model’s predictive value these patients. Methods Clinical information in MIMIC was collected retrospectively. Machine learning used select top 30...

Abstract Background Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most frequently occurring type of dementia. Concurrently, inadequate sleep has been recognized as a public health epidemic. Notably, genetic and environmental factors are now considered contributors to AD progression. Objective To assess association between duration, susceptibility, AD. Methods results Based on 483,507 participants from UK Biobank (UKB) with an average follow-up 11.3 years, there was non-linear relationship incidence...

Abstract Pavements play a pivotal role in infrastructure construction, so pavement distress detection (PDD) will greatly affect service life and vehicle operation safety. Traditional manual computer methods have such disadvantages as low efficiency, high cost error-proneness. Thus, they are not suitable for high-speed tasks due to large number of defects. Defect based on deep learning can achieve end-to-end target detection, generalize monitor targets real time. On basis, this paper has...

Summary Background Early-life exposure increases health risks throughout an individual’s lifetime. Biological aging is influenced by early-life as a key process of disease development, but whether could accelerate biological and elevate late-life mortality morbidity remains unknown. Knowledge also limited on the potential moderating role healthy lifestyle. Methods We investigate associations three around birth, breastfeeding, maternal smoking birth weight, with 202 580 UK Biobank...

Marine ships are the transport vehicle in ocean and instance segmentation of marine is an accurate efficient analysis approach to achieve a quantitative understanding ships, for example, their relative locations other or obstacles. This spatial information crucial developing unmanned avoid crashing. Visible light imaging, e.g. using our smartphones, way obtain images however, so far there lack suitable open-source visible datasets which could potentially slow down development ships. To...

Rheumatic heart disease (RHD) accounts for a large proportion of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) deaths. Early prediction RHD can help with timely and appropriate treatment to improve survival outcomes, the XGBoost machine learning technology be used identify predictive factors; however, its use has been limited in past. We compared performance logistic regression predicting hospital mortality among patients from Medical Information Mart IV (MIMIC-IV) database. The MIMIC-IV database were divided...

Designing active and cost‐effective catalysts for acidic oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is critically important optimizing proton exchange membrane water electrolyzers used in hydrogen production. In this study, we introduce a straightforward rapid method to synthesize quinary high‐entropy ruthenium‐based alloy (RuMnFeMoCo) OER. This iridium‐free catalyst demonstrates low overpotential of 170 mV exceptional stability, enduring 1000‐hour durability test at 10 mA cm‐2 0.5 M H2SO4....

Sepsis still threatens the lives of more than 300 million patients annually and elderly with sepsis usually have a complicated condition worse prognosis. Existing studies shown that both Hematocrit (HCT) albumin (ALB) can be used as potential predictors sepsis, their difference HCT-ALB has significant capacity to diagnose infectious diseases. Currently, there is no relevant research on relationship between prognosis patients. Therefore, this study aims explore association mortality in sepsis.
