Persulfates ((peroxymonosulfate (PMS) and peroxydisulfate (PDS)) can disintegrate waste activated sludge (WAS), but their influence on volatile fatty acid (VFA) production during anaerobic fermentation is largely unclear. Particularly, it unknown whether persulfates improve without any preactivation. This study investigated how the direct addition of PMS PDS into fermenter influences VFA from WAS, uncovered possible mechanisms improved production. At dosage 1.0 mM/gVS, maximum yield (1025 ±...

The appearance and magnitude of the immune response related factors correlated with SARS-CoV-2 vaccination need to be defined. Here, we enrolled a prospective cohort 52 participants who received two doses inactivated vaccines (BBIBP-CorV). Their serial plasma samples (n = 260) over 2 months were collected at five timepoints. We measured antibody responses (NAb, S-IgG S-IgM) routine blood parameter. NAb seroconversion occurred in 90.7% vaccinated individuals four typical kinetic curves...

In this study, we synthesized a phosphorus-coordinated Pd@MXene catalyst to address the drawbacks associated with high noble metal usage, susceptibility poisoning, and stability issues in electrocatalytic hydrodehalogenation (EHDC) of recalcitrant halogenated pollutants. The exhibited an EHDC performance comparable that benchmark electrode (Pd@MX/CC) when tested on model pollutant diclofenac (DCF). Notably, Pd demonstrated 80% reduction usage 3.9-fold increase utilization efficiency. This...
