The long-term toxicities of chemotherapy and radiotherapy can represent a significant burden to testicular cancer survivors. Retroperitoneal lymph node dissection (RPLND) is an established treatment for germ cell tumors with minimal late morbidity although little data exist on its efficacy in early metastatic seminoma. Surgery seminoma prospective phase II single-arm, multi-institutional trial RPLND as first-line clinically low-volume retroperitoneal lymphadenopathy.
Introduction and Objective: A nomogram-based approach can accurately predict the outcome of prostate biopsy (PBx) in naïve men with an elevated PSA using known traditional risk factors. However, MRI has been shown to be value before performing a PBx. This study aimed clinically significant cancer (csPC) on PBx by combining clinical factors addition imaging findings An application was then created improve accessibility predicted outcomes aid decision-making. Methods: cohort 448 biopsy-naive...
Dyskeratosis congenita (DC) is a heterogeneous inherited bone marrow failure and cancer predisposition syndrome in which germline mutations telomere biology genes account for approximately one-half of known families. Hoyeraal Hreidarsson (HH) clinically severe variant DC patients also have cerebellar hypoplasia may present with immunodeficiency enteropathy. We discovered autosomal recessive mutation RTEL1, helicase critical telomeric functions, two unrelated families Ashkenazi Jewish (AJ)...
