Soil microorganisms transform plant-derived C (carbon) into particulate organic (POC) and mineral-associated (MAOC) pools. While microbial carbon use efficiency (CUE) is widely recognized in current biogeochemical models as a key predictor of soil (SOC) storage, large-scale empirical evidence limited. In this study, we proposed experimentally tested two predictors POC MAOC pool formation: necromass (using amino sugars proxy) CUE (by 18O-H2O approach). sampling (0-10 10-20 cm depth) was...
Cadmium (Cd) is a toxic heavy metal contaminant in agricultural soils. Phytoremediation using hyperaccumulator plants promising remediation strategy. This study investigated the effects of TiO2 NPs on Cd uptake and accumulation ramie (Boehmeria nivea L.) grown Cd-spiked soil. The aim was to evaluate potential application enhance phytoextraction efficiency for removing from contaminated Ramie cultivated soil spiked with 5 mg/kg Cd, or without 500 NPs. results showed significantly increased...
ABSTRACT Discogobio is an important small freshwater economic fish in Southwestern China. In this study, we determined the complete mitochondrial genome (mitogenome) sequences of six species by conventional overlapping PCR and Sanger sequencing. The mitogenomes were 16,591–16,605 bp length contained 13 protein‐coding genes, 22 transfer RNA two ribosomal a noncoding region, which was consistent with previously studied Labeoninae mitogenomes. phylogenetic analysis revealed that subfamily...
Discogobio is a genus of small, economically important freshwater fishes that are widely distributed in Southwestern China. The species the morphologically very similar, which makes their taxonomic identification quite challenging. DNA barcoding technology can identify at molecular level, thus overcoming limitations morphological classification. In this study, we collected 16 from China, analyzed mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase I subunit (COI) gene sequences 206 samples, and applied to...
Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), also known as Metabolic dysfunction-associated (MASLD), has become one of the most common chronic diseases worldwide, approximately 30% adults and 70%~80% patients with obesity diabetes suffer from NAFLD. We attempted to find a potential hub gene in NAFLD hepatocyte cell model induced by palmitic acid oil (PAOA), investigated function hub-gene. searched downloaded GSE122660 dataset GEO-DataSets, differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were analyzed...
The mountainous regions of Southwest China are biodiversity hotspots where geographical isolation promotes genetic differentiation and species diversification. For cave-dwelling like the Pterocryptis anomala, how isolation, historical climate, riverscapes have influenced their evolution remains largely unexplored. Based on 255 samples from Pearl River Yangtze River, this study integrated two mitochondrial genes nuclear to analyze diversity structure P. anomala population. Phylogenetic trees...
Abstract Previous studies have shown that podocyte injury is involved in the development of proteinuria rats under hypobaric hypoxia conditions. Prolyl hydroxylase inhibitors (PHIs) may reduce proteinuria. This study aimed to further investigate whether protective effects hypoxia‐inducible factor 1α (HIF1α) on induced by are related Krüppel‐like 4 (KLF4). Rats were housed a low‐pressure oxygen chamber simulate high‐altitude environment (5000 m), and PHI was intraperitoneally injected....
(1) Background: Buffaloes are crucial livestock species for food and service in tropical subtropical regions. Buffalo genetics, particularly indigenous Chinese breeds such as the Xiangxi white buffalo (XWB), remains an intriguing area of study due to its unique traits regional significance. (2) Methods: This investigation utilized whole-genome sequences twenty XWBs (newly sequenced), along with eighty published other (including Guizhou buffalo, river Yangtze River). Using sequencing analysis...
Dairy mastitis is an inflammatory reaction caused by mechanical injury and stress within the mammary gland, during which microbial changes abnormal lipid metabolism occur. However, underlying mechanism still unclear. The present study used a combination of 16S rDNA sequencing technology lipidomics techniques to reveal effects on lactic microbiota metabolites in milk dairy cows. Twenty multiparous Holstein cows (2-3 parities) with average body weight 580 ± 30 kg were selected for this study....
The impacts of high milk somatic cell count (SCC) on different fractions are not well understood. In this study, proteins in exosomes, fat globule membrane (MFGM), and whey from cows with low (<105 cells/mL, CG) SCC (>5 × 105 HSG) were identified using a tandem mass tag proteomic approach. total, 1568, 2160, 1002 identified, 65, 552, 98 being altered by MFGM, whey, respectively. With SCC, the exosome marker (ACTB) was increased exosomes HSG. main MFGM (BTN1A1, PLIN3, FABP3, MFGE8) functional...
In this study, we explored the gene expression patterns of pituitary gland and hypothalamus Angus cows at different growth developmental stages by deep sequencing identified genes that affect bovine reproductive performance to provide new ideas for improving fertility in production practice. We selected three 6-month-old (weaning period), 18-month-old (first mating 30-month-old (early postpartum) cattle. The physiological status each group was same, their body conformations were similar....
Eco-friendly and efficient strategies for eliminating cadmium (Cd) phytoremediation plant residues are needed. The present study investigated the feasibility of feeding Cd accumulator maize to beef cattle. In total, 20 cattle at 6 months age were selected randomly allocated into two groups fed with 85.82% (fresh basis) (CAM) or normal (control [Con]) silage diets 107 d. Feeding CAM did not affect body weight (P = 0.24), while it decreased feed intake increased efficiency < 0.01). serum...
Accurate and sensitive analysis of p53 DNA is important for early diagnosis cancer. In this work, a fluorescence sensing system based on supersandwich nanowires cation exchange (CX)-triggered multiplex signal amplification was constructed the detection DNA. presence DNA, self-assembles to form nanowire that generates long double-stranded Subsequently, (CX) reaction between ZnS Ag+ utilized release free Zn2+. With participation Zn2+, DNAzyme catalyzes hydrolysis numerous catalytic molecular...
In this paper, we study the interference scenario where multiple Device-to-Device (D2D) pairs and one cellular use share same spectrum resources, propose a novel D2D signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) improvement algorithm called DSIA from perspective of precoding decoding. Numerical results show that in comparison with traditional orthogonal scheme, will enable to achieve significant SINR gains.

However, a comprehensive whole-genome-based exploration of the genetic architecture this breed is scant literature. (2) Methods: To address substantial gap, we used whole-genome sequences 20 goats compared them with published genomic data 133 different breeds across China. This investigation sought assess diversity, population structure, presence selection signals....
An efficient signal enhancement strategy for the detection of cysteine (Cys) was developed, which is based on combination a Cys-reduced reaction and chelation Al3+ with Cys-promoted product.
In this paper, we investigate the interference scenario where multiple Device-to-Device (D2D) pairs reuse spectrum resources allocated to one cellular user, and propose a novel algorithm for improving signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) of D2D communication. We call SINR improvement as DSIA, design it from perspective precoding decoding. With each pair involved in network can obtain corresponding decoding vectors which make its receiver being maximized. In order clearly describe...
Zigbee has been considered as a promising standard for wireless sensor networks. There are two recovery mechanisms when node is orphaned. Although an orphan realignment mechanism provided in Zigbee, it only suitable orphaned associating with the coordinator which 64-bit physical address of node, and not beacon enabled network. And re-association time consuming because there long delay channel scan before association. In this paper, we propose fast scheme network based on passive needed...
