By using Pd(TFA)2/PCy3 as a catalyst, broad range of aromatic carboxylic acids, including heteroaromatic efficiently underwent decarboxylative coupling with an array polyfluoroarenes in the presence stoichiometric amount silver salts to generate biaryls. Silver were adjusted reactivity acids suppress protodecarboxylation and therefore improve cross-couplings. It was established that palladium complex containing PCy3 ligand capable catalyzing decarboxylation electron-rich promoted both...
Six three-dimensional (3D) lanthanide coordination polymers with formula [Ln(TDC)(ox)0.5(H2O)2]·(H2O) (1Ln) (Ln = Pr 1, Nd 2, Sm 3, Gd 4) and (2Ln) Dy 5, Er 6) have been synthesized by hydrothermal reactions of thiophene-2,5-dicarboxylate (TDC) oxalate (ox) corresponding nitrate. X-ray crystal structure analyses reveal that 1Ln 2Ln are isomers may be produced contraction. Compounds 1–4 isostructural possess binodal (4,5)-connected 3D framework tcj/hc topology triangular channels along the...
A series of novel lanthanide coordination polymers constructed from organic pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylate (2,6-pydc) and inorganic sulfate, namely, [Eu3(2,6-pydc)3(2,6-Hpydc)(SO4)(H2O)3·(H2O)3] (1), [Ln2(2,6-pydc)2(SO4)(H2O)2·(H2O)2] (Ln = Ce (2); Ln Pr (3); Nd (4); Sm (5)), [Ce5(2,6-pydc)6(SO4)2(H2O)3·(Me2NH2)] (6), have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. X-ray crystal structure analyses reveal that these compounds a rich structural chemistry. Compound 1 presents four-connected...
We prepared a new rare-earth compound, Eu9MgS2B20O41 (EMSBO), and characterized its structural physical properties. EMSBO consists of triple-Kagomé-layer slabs separated by nonmagnetic ions groups. Within each slab, intervalence charge transfer has been found to occur between the Eu2+ Eu3+ Kagomé layers, channel for quantum fluctuation magnetic moments. The measured susceptibilities specific heat capacity exhibit very similar features characteristic spin liquid behaviors observed in other materials.
Two new 3d-3d homo- and heterometallic coordination polymers with mixed organic ligands, namely, [Zn2(IBC)(BTC)(H2O)]·H2O (1) [CdCo(IBC)(BTC)(H2O)] (2) [HIBC = 3,5-di(1H-imidazol-1-yl)benzoic acid, H3BTC 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid], have been synthesized fully characterized by X-ray diffraction, IR, elemental analysis, thermogravimetric photoluminescence, magnetic measurements. Complex 1 homonuclear Zn(II) is a rare three-dimensional (3D) (3,6)-connected rtl (rutile) framework [Zn2O2]...
The Co/Mn-mediated oxidative cross-coupling of indoles with β-keto estersviadioxygen activation under mild conditions leads to ketonization–olefination indoles. This reaction furnishes the highly functionalized products excellent selectivity in good yields.
Three novel Eu-polymers containing hole transporting units and light-emitting in the main chain have been designed synthesized via radical copolymerization of N-vinylcarbazole polymerizable Eu(TTA)3vinyl-tpy, where TTA is 2-thenoyltrifluoroacetonate. The chemical structure composition were characterized by FTIR, UV-vis, 1H NMR, 13C NMR spectroscopy, GPC, ESI-MS, elemental analysis. geometry monomer Eu(TTA)3vinyl-tpy was predicted using Sparkle/PM6 model suggested to be a environment with...
Ring the changes: The direct cross-coupling of electron-deficient 1,4-benzoquinone or its derivatives with electron-rich alkyl vinyl ethers proceeds in a tandem manner to produce substituted benzene rings good selectivity and excellent yields (see scheme). reaction has potential for rapid synthesis diverse as it is not limited by substituent effects. Detailed facts importance specialist readers are published "Supporting Information". Such documents peer-reviewed, but copy-edited typeset....
Four novel lanthanide(III)–copper(II) heterometallic coordination polymers based on six-coordinated Cu centres and square-planar tetranuclear {Ln4} SBUs with sulfate as an auxiliary bridging ligand, namely, [Ln2Cu0.5(2,6-pydc)2(2-pyc)(SO4)(H2O)2]·(H2O) (Ln = Nd 1, Sm 2, Eu 3, Gd 4; 2,6-pydc pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylate, 2-pyc pyridine-2-carboxylate), have been hydrothermally synthesized structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compounds 1–4 are isostructural present a...
Abstract A domain wall, as a device, can bring about revolution in developing manipulation of semiconductor heterostructures devices at the atom scale. However, it is challenge for these new to control wall motion through insulator-metal transition correlated-electron materials. To fully understand and harness this motion, requires visualization dynamics real space. Here, VO 2 phase was observed directly by situ TEM Experimental results depict scale evolution morphologies exact positions...

ESR converted the PtSi to Pt x ( =2,3) Si with high electrocatalytic activity for HER. Combined Schottky barrier caused by DS, Si/PtSi/p-Si exhibited excellent PEC H 2 generation performance, achieving ABPE as 5.8%.
We demonstrate the injection and transport of spin-polarized electrons through n-type doped silicon with in-plane spin valve perpendicular magnetic-field precession dephasing (``Hanle effect'') measurements. A voltage applied across layer is used to vary confinement potential caused by conduction-band bending control dominant mechanism between drift diffusion. By modeling in this device a Monte Carlo scheme, we simulate observed polarization Hanle features, showing that average transit time...
We report the negative capacitance behavior of an energy band gap modulation quantum well with a sandwich VO2 layer structure. The phase transition is probed by measuring its capacitance. With help theoretical calculations, it shows that changes device come from continuously tuning temperature or voltage. Experiments reveal as current remains small enough, joule heating can be ignored, and insulator-metal induced electric field. Our results open up possibilities for functional devices...
A simple chiral binuclear titanium complex ((S)-Ti2L3Na4) was first prepared and served as an excellent sensor for discriminating a variety of ammoniums by 1H NMR. In the presence trifluoroacetic acid, in-situ-generated varied amines can be effectively resolved (S)-Ti2L3Na4. The different binding forces between (S)-Ti2L3Na4 two enantiomers analytes generate shielding effects on enantiomers, resulting in split distinguishable chemical shift.
