Emulsions stabilized by soft whey protein microgel particles have gained research interest due to their combined advantages of biocompatibility and a high degree resistance coalescence. We designed Pickering oil-in-water emulsions using microgels facile route heat-set gel formation followed mechanical shear studied the influence heat treatment on these particles. The aim this study was compare barrier properties heat-treated fused at oil-water interface in delaying digestion emulsified...

Offshore low-permeability thin interbedded reservoirs contain significant oil reserves and are crucial for future development. However, due to the high cost operational challenges associated with offshore fracturing, large-scale fracturing common in onshore fields is uneconomical. Furthermore, often have sparse well placement wide spacing, contrast fields, which leads low recovery. Additionally, there a lack of comprehensive theory on optimizing patterns fracture networks maximize net...

An extracellular thermophilic α-amylase (1, 4-α-d-glucanohydrolase, EC 3.2.1.l) from Anoxybacillus sp. YIM 342 was partially purified by ultrafiltration followed ammonium sulfate fractionation and dialysis. This procedure a single purification step using gel filtration chromatography to give 10.41% yield, 1912.2 U/mg specific activity, 32-fold enrichment. The molecular mass of the determined be 68 kDa sodium dodecyl sulfate–polyacrylamide electrophoresis. optimum temperature pH activity were...

One novel and eight known oxidatively rearranged cycloartane triterpenoids were isolated from the seeds of Pseudolarix amabilis. The structure new isolate was elucidated on extensive spectroscopic analyses. Results indicated that pseudolarolide Q (4) exhibited strong antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus Candida albicans at MICs 6.08 24.32 μM, respectively. Pseudolarolide I (2) showed 11β-HSD1 inhibitory property IC50 value 34.5 nM.
