Peritendinous tissue fibrosis which leads to poor tendon function is a worldwide clinical problem; however, its mechanism remains unclear. Transcription factor RelA/p65, an important subunit in the NF-κB complex, known have critical role many fibrotic diseases. Here, we show that RelA/p65 functions as core fibrogenic regulator adhesion and inhibition exerts anti-fibrogenic effect on peritendinous adhesion. We detected upregulation of pathway human using gene chip microarray assay revealed...

Abstract We developed an air-liquid interphase culture procedure for mammalian oviduct epithelial cells leading to the formation of functional tissues, which generate fluid surrogates. These in vitro epithelia can be co-cultured with living zygotes and enable embryonic development up blastocyst stage without addition embryo medium. The described strategy is broadly applicable analyze early embryo-maternal interactions under standardized conditions.

In mammals, around the time of ovulation, hormonal profile dynamically changes in synchrony with reproductive events occurring oviduct, that is, sperm arrival, fertilization, and early embryo development. Extracellular vesicles (EVs) have been recently recognized as key components embryonic milieu; however, composition function oviductal EVs during this crucial period remains to be further explored. Therefore, we initially characterized from porcine fluid specifically critical ovulation...
