To evaluate the importance of mutations p53 and K-ras genes in prognosis patients with non-small cell lung cancer, one hundred forty-four who underwent surgery were studied. DNA was extracted from frozen specimens. Polymerase chain reaction-single strand conformation polymorphism sequencing performed to investigate exon 5 8, 1 K-ras. Mutations gene occurred 35. 4% patients, 8.3%. The overall survival rate cancer wild-type better than that whose tumors had (P=0.0330). Among adenocarcinoma...

Background-free inelastic scattering spectra have been obtained for five Sm isotopes with $386\text{\ensuremath{-}}\text{MeV}$ $\ensuremath{\alpha}$ particles at forward angles (including $0\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}$) to investigate the effect of deformation on compressional-mode giant resonances. The strength distributions $L\ensuremath{\leqslant}3$ isoscalar resonances extracted via a multipole decomposition analysis using angular calculated in framework density-dependent...

Background-free inelastic scattering spectra have been obtained for the Sm isotopes with 400 MeV α particles at forward angles (including 0°) to investigate effect of deformation on compressional-mode giant resonances. The strength distributions isoscalar resonances (L⩽3) extracted spherical nucleus 144Sm and deformed 154Sm. We observed that effects are different low- high-excitation-energy components dipole resonance in Evidence theoretically predicted coupling between high-energy octupole...

Charged particle decay of the s-hole state in 11B was measured coincidence with quasifree 12C(p,2p) reaction at 392 MeV incident energy. Triton-decay found to be dominant despite its smaller Q-value than that α-decay. The pattern is compared results statistical model and microscopic SU(3)-cluster calculations. energy spectrum around exhibits three bump-like structures, which can qualitatively explained by a recent shell-model calculation.

Cross sections and polarization transfer observables in the 16O(p,p′) reactions at 392 MeV were measured several angles between θlab=0° 14°. The non-spin-flip (ΔS=0) spin-flip (ΔS=1) strengths transitions to discrete states broad resonances 16O extracted using a model-independent method. giant energy region of Ex=19–27MeV found be predominantly excited by ΔL=1 transitions. strength distribution spin-dipole with ΔS=1 deduced. obtained was compared recent shell model calculation. Introduction of a magnetic spectrometer for the analysis nuclear reaction products can open new dimension in structure studies as well through capability achieving high-resolution and low-background measurements. Ion-optical matching methods to achieve better energy (momentum) resolutions than those inherent incident beam causing are described using beams from an accelerator. They lateral dispersion matching, focus also kinematic correction. In addition angular should be performed if...

The second moment for Y${\mathrm{H}}_{1.92}$ was measured at 86 K using $^{1}\mathrm{H}$ NMR. contribution of inhomogeneous broadening to the proton spectrum has been determined. These results are compared with previously moments. In addition, Knight shift and is analyzed in terms Korringa relation.

Abstract We have analyzed Electrostatic Electron Cyclotron Harmonic (ECH) waves observed using interferometry observation mode performed by the Arase satellite to estimate low‐energy electron temperatures. Interferometry can be used calculate velocities, but only perform observations in a one‐dimensional direction. proposed method wave vector of ECH from electric fields and calculated phase velocity for each frequency. determined particle parameters detector upper hybrid resonance estimated...

Abstract We analyzed electrostatic electron cyclotron harmonic waves observed by the interferometry observation mode of Arase satellite. It is found that magnitude phase difference varies with satellite spin. The spin dependence this was investigated examining trend for 84 events ECH waves. they are divided into two categories. One tends to show sinusoidal variations as a function angle $$\gamma _B$$ γ...
