We describe a novel and effective video enhancement algorithm for low lighting video. The works by first inverting an input low-lighting then applying optimized image de-haze on the inverted To facilitate faster computation, temporal correlations between subsequent frames are utilized to expedite calculation of key parameters. Simulation results show excellent 4× speed up as compared with frame-wise algorithms.

Name-based route lookup is a key function for Named Data Networking (NDN). The NDN names are hierarchical and have variable unbounded lengths, which much longer than IPv4/6 address, making fast name challenging issue. In this paper, we propose an effective Name Component Encoding (NCE) solution with the following two techniques: (1) A code allocation mechanism developed to achieve memory-efficient encoding components, (2) We apply improved State Transition Arrays accelerate longest prefix...

Robot-assisted rehabilitation offers benefits, such as repetitive, intensive, and task-specific training, compared to traditional manual manipulation performed by physiotherapists. In this paper, a robust iterative feedback tuning (IFT) technique for repetitive training control of compliant parallel ankle robot is presented. The employs four intrinsically pneumatic muscle actuators that mimic skeletal muscles ankle's motion training. A multiple degrees-of-freedom normalized IFT proposed...

Pneumatic artificial muscles (PAMs) have been widely used in actuation of medical devices due to their intrinsic compliance and high power-to-weight ratio features. However, the nonlinearity time-varying nature PAMs make it challenging maintain high-performance tracking control. In this article, a high-order pseudopartial derivative-based model-free adaptive iterative learning controller (HOPPD-MFAILC) is proposed achieve fast convergence speed. The dynamics PAM converted into dynamic...

Transformers with powerful global relation modeling abilities have been introduced to fundamental computer vision tasks recently. As a typical example, the Vision Trans-former (ViT) directly applies pure transformer architecture on image classification, by simply splitting images into tokens fixed length, and employing transformers learn relations between these tokens. However, such naive tokenization could destruct object structures, assign grids uninterested regions as background,...

Wearable integrated sensing devices with flexible electronic elements exhibit enormous potential in human-machine interfaces (HMI), but they have limitations such as complex structures, poor waterproofness, and electromagnetic interference. Herein, inspired by the profile of Lindernia nummularifolia (LN), a bionic stretchable optical strain (BSOS) sensor composed an LN-shaped fiber incorporated substrate is developed for intelligent HMI. Such enables large bending angle measurements...
