The study is aimed at developing a method for monitoring photodynamic therapy (PDT) of tumor using chlorin-type photosensitizers (PSs). Lack chlorin e6 (Cе6) photobleaching, hemoglobin oxygenation and blood flow during light exposure can limit the PDT effectiveness. Phototheranostics includes spectral-fluorescence diagnostics Ce6 distribution in NIR range with simultaneous assessment flow. Fluorescence were performed single laser λexc=660±5 nm. Combined spectroscopic allowed estimation...

Emission spectral properties and quantum efficiency of upconversion particles NaYF4, SrF2, LaF3, BaF2 и CaF2, doped with rare earth ions pair Yb3+–Er3+ were studied using continuous wave (CW) pulsed periodic excitation modes in the near infrared (NIR) range. Analysis obtained results showed that intensity ratio luminescence green red ranges depends on pulse duration. Thus, by changing duration can be controlled. Crystals higher phonon energy are more sensitive to change pumping mode....

The difficulty of intraoperative delineation glial tumors is due to the peculiarities their growth along vessels and nerve fibers with infiltration healthy white matter. Insufficiently complete removal tumor tissues leads recurrences, excessive fraught neurological complications. Optical spectroscopy methods are characterized by high speed, accuracy non-invasiveness, which determines prospects use for demarcation boundaries such tumors. Fluorescence diffuse reflectance have found wide...

Upconversion nanoparticles have attracted considerable attention as luminescent markers for bioimaging and sensing due to their capability convert near-infrared (NIR) excitation into visible or NIR luminescence. However, the wavelength of about 970 nm is commonly used upconversion luminescence excitation, where strong absorption water observed, which can lead laser-induced overheating effects. One strategies avoiding such heating involves shifting shorter wavelengths region. influence change...

Upconversion nanoparticles are promising for many applications. For triple-doped (NPs), the luminescence intensity shows a non-linear dependence on rare-earth ion concentration, making it difficult to obtain bright phosphors with high energy output. We investigated transfer processes in β-NaGdF4:Yb-Er-Tm NPs and considered strategies increasing thulium intensity, particular, use of core–shell structures. The spectra were analyzed short-wavelength infrared (SWIR) visible (VIS) regions. Er3+...
