水酸化チタン (IV) Tio2・nH20 または酸化チタン Tio2 (ルチルおよびアナタース型) とリン酸とのオートクレープ中での反応により, 結晶性ビス (リン酸-水素) チタン 二水和物 Ti(HPO4)2・2H2O(γ-Tip) の製法を確立した。水酸化チタン および酸化チタン 系のいずれの系においても, γ-Tip の生成には混合罰合 (P205/Tio2), 加熱温度, 加熱時間および水蒸気圧が大きく影響した。γ-TiPの合成最適条件としては, 系においては, P205/TiO2=1.2~1.5, 加熱温度 225~250℃, 加熱時間3時間以上, 水蒸気圧 15atm 以上, また酸化チタン 200~210℃, 8atm 以上がもっとも有効であった。本方法で合成した γ-TiP は水溶液中のアンモニアおよびアンモニアガスを効果的に吸着した。
