An essential challenge in diabetic periodontal regeneration is achieving the transition from a hyperglycemic inflammatory microenvironment to regenerative one. Here, we describe polydopamine (PDA)-mediated ultralong silk microfiber (PDA-mSF) and metformin (Met)-loaded zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF) incorporated into fibroin/gelatin (SG) patch promote soft hard tissue by regulating immunomodulatory microenvironment. The PDA-mSF endows with reactive oxygen species (ROS)-scavenging...

Among renewable energy technologies, particular attention is paid to electrochemically transforming methanol into valuable formate and storing supercapacitors. In this study, we detailed a simple colloidal-based protocol for synthesizing series of alloy nanoparticles with tuned Ni/Co atomic ratios, thereby optimizing their electrochemical performance. With the addition 1 M in KOH, optimized composition was able produce at 0.149 mmol cm

In this letter, a slot array antenna loaded with phase gradient metasurface (PGM) for monostatic radar cross-section (RCS) reduction is presented. The PGM, which has stable and 2π-phase variation range in wide operating bandwidth, placed over the antenna. Due to anomalous reflection diffuse of RCS reduced 7-20 GHz normal incidence. Meanwhile, radiation characteristics are well kept. Antenna samples fabricated tested. Measurements show good agreement simulations.

Designers of next-generation photovoltaics look to employ abundant, environmentally benign materials, and currently zinc selenide is interest. Unfortunately, the wide band gap ZnS quantum dots (QDs) limits their application in solar cells. The authors show that introducing intermediate energy levels these QDs via doping with manganese effective expanding absorption window into visible region, thus improving device performance.

This paper analyzed the results of a modified and simpler technique for distinguishing intersegmental border during lung segmentectomy surgery. From January 2013 to December 2015, 539 patients with screening‐detected nodules <2 cm in maximum diameter underwent anatomic segmentectomy. With guidance preoperative three‐dimensional computed tomography bronchography angiography, bronchus, artery, intrasegmental vein targeted segment could be precisely dissected under unilateral differential...

In recent years, studies have shown that the secretome of bone marrow mesenchymal stromal cells (BMSCs) contains many growth factors, cytokines, and antioxidants, which may provide novel approaches to treat ischemic diseases. Furthermore, be modulated by hypoxic preconditioning. We hypothesized conditioned medium (CM) derived from BMSCs plays a crucial role in reducing tissue damage improving neurological recovery after stroke preconditioning robustly improves these activities. Rats were...

Sepsis-associated encephalopathy (SAE) is a critical neurological complication of sepsis and represents crucial factor contributing to high mortality adverse prognosis in septic patients. This study explored the contribution NAT10-mediated messenger RNA (mRNA) acetylation cognitive dysfunction associated with SAE, utilizing cecal ligation puncture (CLP)-induced SAE mouse model. Our findings demonstrate that CLP significantly upregulates NAT10 expression mRNA excitatory neurons hippocampal...

Abstract It remains unclear whether the benefits of adhering to a healthy lifestyle outweigh effects high genetic risk on cognitive decline. We examined association combined factors and with changes in function six specific dimensions cognition among older adults from Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey (1998–2018, n = 18,811, subset 6301 participants information). Compared an unfavorable lifestyle, those favorable showed 46.81% slower rate decline, similar results across most...

Abstract Methicillin‐resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a prevalent and highly virulent bacterium encountered in clinical settings. Due to its uneven drug resistance profile the multitude of factors influencing detection rates, precise sensitive identification MRSA essential. Herein, we developed system (called “APC‐Cas‐PLNPs”) that can ultrasensitive for MRSA, using nucleic acid‐based allosteric probe, CRISPR‐Cas12a, dual‐colored persistent luminescent nanoparticles tandem detection....
