BCMA-specific chimeric antigen receptor-T cells (CAR-Ts) have exhibited remarkable efficacy in refractory or relapsed multiple myeloma (RRMM); however, primary resistance and relapse exist with single-target immunotherapy. Bispecific CARs are proposed to mitigate these limitations. We constructed a humanized bispecific BM38 CAR targeting BCMA CD38 tested the antimyeloma activity of CAR-Ts vitro vivo. Twenty-three patients RRMM received infusions phase I trial.BM38 showed stronger cytotoxicity...

Background: Early neurological deterioration (END) is not a rare phenomenon in single subcortical infarction (SSI; traditionally known as lacunar infarction) patients. Predictors of END SSI patients are uncertain. Aims: We aimed to investigate the association between infarct lesion characteristics, penetrating artery morphology, carrier plaque features and using whole-brain vessel-wall imaging. Methods: prospectively collected data from without stenosis corresponding artery. The size...

Endometriosis is a common gynecologic disorder with enigmatic etiopathogenesis and characterized by tumor-like biological behaviors. Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) has been recognized as core mechanism of endometriosis. Recently, circular RNAs (circRNAs) have attracted considerable attention because they play an important role in the progression cancer. However, little known about function circRNAs This study intended to investigate involvement microRNAs process EMT ovarian...

The clinical application of coronary MR angiography (MRA) remains limited due to its long acquisition time and often unsatisfactory image quality. A compressed sensing artificial intelligence (CSAI) framework was recently introduced overcome these limitations, but feasibility in MRA is unknown. To evaluate the diagnostic performance noncontrast-enhanced with CSAI patients suspected artery disease (CAD).Prospective observational study.A total 64 consecutive (mean age ± standard deviation [SD]:...

Aldosterone- and cortisol-coproducing adrenal adenoma (A/CPA) cases have been observed in patients with primary aldosteronism (PA). This study investigated the incidence, clinical characteristics, molecular biological features of A/CPAs. We retrospectively identified 22 A/CPA from 555 PA who visited Chinese People’s Liberation Army General Hospital between 2004 2015. Analysis parameters revealed that A/CPAs had larger tumors than those pure APAs (<mml:math...

Drug overdose deaths, including those due to prescription opioids, represent a critical public health issue in the United States and worldwide. Artificial intelligence (AI) approaches have been developed deployed help prescribers assess patient's risk for overdose-related death, but it is unknown whether experts can leverage similar predictions make local resource allocation decisions more effectively. In this work, we evaluated how AI-based assessment could be used inform using working...

Angiotensin receptor neprilysin inhibitor (ARNI) sacubitril-valsartan has been recommended as one of the first-line therapies in heart failure with reduced ejection fraction. However, whether ARNI could benefit patients ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) by improving left ventricular (LV) remodeling remains unknown. The primary objective PERI-STEMI trial is to assess more effective preventing adverse LV for STEMI than enalapril.

This study used routine cardiac function parameters and strain based on magnetic resonance imaging to evaluate the effects of specific treatments left ventricular structure in patients with PA. We found that PA had lower LV volumes myocardial mass, as well improved circumferential longitudinal motion both after adrenalectomy drug treatment. Specific treatment can not only effectively relieve clinical symptoms, but also improve subclinical dysfunction.

Abstract Recent WHO vaccination guidance no longer recommends COVID-19 beyond the first booster in low risk population, citing high population-level hybrid immunity due to widespread omicron infections. 1 Although SARS-CoV-2 infection confers durable protection against reinfection, 2-4 it may also produce immune imprinting, which skews subsequent response variant antigens toward first-exposed antigen based on antigenic distance. 5,6 China has earliest and exclusively...
