Long non-coding RNAs (LncRNAs) act as competing endogenous (ceRNAs) in colon cancer (CC) progression, via binding microRNAs (miRNAs) to regulate the expression of corresponding messenger (mRNAs). This article aims explore detailed molecular mechanism ceRNA CC. Top mad 5000 lncRNAs and top mRNAs were used perform weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA), key modules selected. We 405 red module 145 purple build original by online databases. The included 50 target lncRNAs, 41...

Vascular calcification (VC) predicts the morbidity and mortality in cardiovascular diseases. smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) osteogenic transdifferentiation is crucial pathological basis for VC. To date, molecular pathogenesis still largely unclear. Notably, C5a-C5aR1 contributes to development of diseases, its closely related physiological bone mineralization which similar VSMCs transdifferentiation. However, role underlying mechanisms VC remain unexplored.

AIM:To investigate the protective effects of magnolol on sepsis-induced inflammation and intestinal dysmotility. METHODS:Sepsis was induced by a single intraperitoneal injection lipopolysaccharide (LPS).Male Wistar rats were randomly assigned to one three treatment groups: prior LPS (LPS/Mag group); vehicle (LPS/Veh saline (Control/Veh).Intestinal transit circular muscle mechanical activity assessed 12 h after injection.Tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-10 (IL-10), monocyte...

Pneumocystis jirovecii pneumonia is an opportunistic infection that affects HIV-infected and immunocompromised persons rarely immunocompetent patients. However, after the advent of COVID-19 pandemic, some patients without immunocompromise or HIV were infected with P. jirovecii. Clinical manifestations atypical, easily misdiagnosed, rapidly progressive, prognosis was poor.
