Abstract Phytohemagglutinin (PHA) is a seed storage protein and type of lectin originally discovered in the common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) for its blood-agglutinating effect. Due to interactions with gut epithelia digestive enzymes potential trigger allergic reactions, PHA can lead various symptoms human body. As result, it has been regarded as significant antinutritional factor beans other legumes. While several published works have summarized structural, biochemical, toxicological...

Abstract Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is a common condition among women of reproductive age. A sensitive, quantitative and rapid assay needed for the diagnosis and, particularly, therapy monitoring BV. sialidase appears to play an important role in bacterial biofilms on vaginal epithelium, closely associated with Here, we report biochemiluminescent that uses substrate derivatized firefly luciferin. In presence reaction, cleaved release luciferin, which subsequently oxidized by luciferase...

A doubled haploid (DH) mapping population was obtained from microspore culture of an allohexaploid F1 the cross between two recently-synthesized Brassica lines. We used single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) genetic variation based on restriction-site associated DNA (RAD) sequencing to construct a high density linkage map population. RAD libraries were constructed genomic both parents and 146 DH progenies. total 2.87 G reads with average depth 2.59 × in 1.41 progeny. 290,422 SNPs identified...

Allopolyploids play an essential role in plant evolution and confer apparent advantages on crop growth breeding compared to low ploidy levels. A doubled haploid (DH) population derived from the cross between two artificially synthesized allohexaploid Brassica was created self-crossed continuously. Morphological yield-related traits showed considerable variation among different generations, families even within same families. However, flowering time, pollen viability seed yield increased...

Transcription factor IIB (TFIIB) is a general transcription for RNA polymerase II, exerting its influence across various biological contexts. In the majority of eukaryotes, TFIIB typically has two homologs, serving as factors I and III. plants, however, TFIIB-related protein family expanded greatly, with 14 9 members in Arabidopsis rice, respectively. BRP5/pollen-expressed 2 (PTF2) proteins belong to subfamily found only plants algae. The prior analysis an atbrp5 mutant, characterized by...
