Heavy metal contamination is a serious food safety issue. In this report, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) decorated graphene nanosheets have been prepared based on the reduction of Ag ions by hydroquinone, and their catalytic performance towards electrochemical oxidation methanol is investigated. The synthesis nano-composite confirmed transmission electron microscope measurements UV-vis absorption spectra. Excellent electrocatalytic material demonstrated cyclic voltammograms.
