Chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis (CRMO), or chronic nonbacterial osteomyelitis, is difficult to diagnose. The accurate diagnosis of CRMO relies on comprehensive imaging examinations because its nature. In this regard, 18 F-FDG PET/CT has demonstrated significant utility in inflammatory diseases. This study tries determine the value FDG evaluation CRMO.

Abstract A 7-year-old boy with high-risk neuroblastoma underwent 123 I-MIBG SPECT/CT to evaluate the therapy response. The scan revealed abnormal uptake in left basal ganglion, indicating possibility of brain metastasis. Subsequent contrast-enhanced MRI, however, did not show any signal intensity ganglion. Follow-up scans at 3-month and 9-month also MIBG same area. case highlights false-positive

Tree peony seeds, traditionally used for edible oil production, are rich in α-linolenic acid (ALA). However, little attention is paid to their development as a healthcare food due bitter and astringent taste. The aim of this study was optimize the debittering process seeds on basis maintaining nutritional value identify compounds that cause taste bitterness. We first optimized by orthogonal experiments which reduced polyphenol content 90.25%, we measured main fatty composition, indicating...

Abstract An 8-year-old girl with refractory high-risk neuroblastoma underwent 68 Ga-DOTATATE PET/CT to evaluate the feasibility of potential 177 Lu-DOTATATE therapy. The scan showed multiple foci abnormal accumulation in bone region, indicating presence metastases. Unexpectedly, an tracer uptake was noted left lateral ventricle area. contrast-enhanced brain MRI obvious enhancement this lesion, suggesting diagnosis choroid plexus metastasis. Integrin αvβ3 expression is associated with sorafenib resistance in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Therefore, monitoring its HCC may serve as a valuable indicator of the efficacy treatment. In this study, longitudinal positron emission tomography (PET) was performed to assess [18F]Alfatide II and [18F]fluorodeoxyglucose ([18F]FDG) suitable probes for evaluating treatment Huh-7 human (HCC) xenograft model. tumor cells were used establish both normal sorafenib-resistant cell lines, models...

Abstract Purpose To assess the prognosis predictive value of semi-quantitative metabolic parameters and tumoral activity based on 123 I-meta-iodobenzylguanidine (MIBG) SPECT/CT in pretreatment neuroblastoma (NB) patients. Methods A total 50 children (25 girls, 25 boys, median age 37 months, range 1-102 months) with newly diagnosed NB, consecutively examined pretherapeutic I-MIBG between 2018 2024, were included this retrospective study. The primary tumor measured, including Tmax/Lmax,...

An 8-year-old boy with high-risk neuroblastoma underwent routine follow-up 123I-MIBG scan, which revealed abnormal accumulation in right pleura, suggestive of potential metastasis. Histopathologic examination the biopsy specimen confirmed presence pleural The patient subsequently received four cycles chemotherapy. A scan after chemotherapy demonstrated no MIBG uptake, indicating remission However, 6 months later, a subsequent recurrent uptake pleura at same location as initial recurrence....

Abstract A 10-year-old girl with high-risk neuroblastoma underwent 123 I-MIBG SPECT/CT and 68 Ga-DOTATE PET/CT, which both showed multiple bone metastases. However, following 177 Lu-DOTATATE therapy, only Ga-DOTATATE PET/CT identified residual lesions negative results. The case emphasized the complementary role of after therapy.
