ABSTRACT Partial discharge (PD) detection is an important technique for monitoring and evaluating the insulation condition of gas‐insulated switchgear (GIS) equipment. The joint analysis diagnosis multiple signals can effectively improve sensitivity reliability PD detection. In this paper, integrated ultra‐high frequency (UHF) optical sensor proposed designed effectiveness are experimentally tested. Furthermore, a 500 kV GIS test platform built, measurements different types defects (metal...

A thermal barrier coating (TBC), consisting of the top and bond coatings, is normally deployed over alloying body an aeroengine blade in order to protect from hostile environments. Thickness loss TBC severely undermines structural integrity blades, thus leads failure aeroengines. Before catastrophic accidents occur, it important nonintrusively assess thickness via effective nondestructive evaluation (NDE) techniques. In this letter, dual-frequency eddy current technique (DFEC) conjunction...

Spin–orbit torque (SOT) is recognized as an effective way to manipulate magnetization in spintronic devices. For the low-power consumption and high-endurance requirements of future computer architectures, reducing critical SOT switching current density improving efficiency are crucial, especially perpendicularly magnetized structures. Here, we have conducted a comprehensive study on Ta/CoFeB structure with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy by inserting oxide insulating layer Fe2O3 bottom...

Abstract The gun propellant is an inaccessible energy and fuel for projectile to achieve destructive capability in a weapon system. Nitrocellulose/nitroglycerine/triethylene glycol dinitrate(NC/NG/TEGDN) based with higher level than single‐based can meet the demands of modern warfare. Currently, deterring strategy commonly used improve combustion progressivity NC/NG/TEGDN propellant, together aggravating harmful emission phenomena such as muzzle smoke flame. Therefore, it essential design...
