Five new sesquiterpenoids, (4S, 5S, 6S, 7S, 8 R)-5,6-dihydroxy-1-acetoxy-10(14)-en-britannilactone (1), 5 R, (2), 6-O-propionylbritannilactone (3), 1β-hydroxy-3α-acetoxyeudesma-11(13)-en-12,8β-olide (4) and 1β,5β-dihydroxyeudesma-11(13)-en-12,8β-olide (5), along with twelve known ones were isolated from the flowers of Pentanema britannicum (L.) D.Gut.Larr. Among them, compounds 1 2 stereoisomers which belong to 1,10-seco-eudesmane sesquiterpenoid rare double bond between C-10 C-14. The...
Twelve new compounds, aspergorakhins A-L (1-12) coupled with one known xanthone leptosphaerin D (13), were isolated from the extract of soil-derived fungus Aspergillus gorakhpurensis F07ZB1707. Their structures elucidated by spectroscopic data analysis including UV, IR, NMR, and HRESIMS. The absolute configurations 5 8-11 identified using ECD OR calculations. All compounds tested enzyme inhibitory activity assay in vitro. Aspergorakhin A (1) showed selective activities against PTP1B SHP1...
Intestinal ischemia/reperfusion injury (IIRI) has the potential to be life threatening and is associated with significant morbidity serious damage distant sites in body on account of disruption intestinal mucosal barrier. In present study, we have explored this line research by comparing identifying peptides that originated from segments IIRI model rats using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS). We also analyzed basic characteristics, cleavage patterns, functional domains...

Parthenolide (PA) shows promising therapeutic effect on ulcerative colitis and colorectal cancer, can ameliorate colon inflammation in a gut microbiota-dependent manner. In the present study, an effective UHPLC-QTOF-MS method aided by rat intestinal microbiota biotransformation was applied to characterize 34 metabolites (including series of characteristic R-Sn-R type organosulfur compounds) PA for first time. Noteworthy, PA-S2-PA PA-S3-PA could react with cysteine generate H2S via...
