Cancer cells undergo a significant level of “metabolic reprogramming” or “remodeling” to ensure an adequate supply ATP and “building blocks” for cell survival facilitate accelerated proliferation. preferentially use glycolysis production (the Warburg effect); however, cancer cells, including colorectal (CRC) also depend on oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) production, finding that suggests both OXPHOS play roles in facilitating progression Our prior studies identified semisynthetic...

Abstract Air‐stable hybrid catalysts of silicon dioxide/double metal cyanide complexes (Si‐DMCCs) based on Zn 3 [Co(CN) 6 ] 2 (ZHCC) were prepared by an in situ sol–gel method. The Si‐DMCCs showed low crystallinity and a nanolamellar structure with thickness ∼40–60 nm. In particular, lamellar regular hexagonal shape was observed for SiO content. These had very high catalytic activity alternating copolymerization cyclohexene oxide (CHO) carbon dioxide. A turnover number 11,444, frequency 3815...

Abstract Although zinccobalt (III) double metal cyanide complex (ZnCo DMCC) catalyst is a highly active and selective for carbon dioxide (CO 2 )/cyclohexene oxide (CHO) copolymerization, the structure of resultant copolymer poorly understood catalytic mechanism still unclear. Combining results kinetic study electrospray ionization‐mass spectrometry (ESI‐MS) spectra CO /CHO copolymerization catalyzed by ZnCo DMCC catalyst, we disclosed that (1) short ether units were mainly generated at...

Abstract A soluble bisphenol containing azomethine moiety and aromatic ether linkage, 2,2′‐bis {4‐[4‐(hydroxy) phenyliminomethylidene] phenoxyphenyl} propane (BHPP), was synthesized from the reaction of 4‐hydroxybenzaldehyde with (4‐aminophenoxy phenyl) (BAPP) characterized by IR, 1 H NMR, 13 C elemental analysis. To improve overall properties epoxy/diamine thermoset, ternary‐curing systems combined BAPP/BHPP diglycidyl biphenyl (DGEBA) were designed. It found that curing behavior BAPP/DGEBA...

Abstract Inherently flame retardant epoxy resin is a kind of halogen‐free material for making high‐performance electronic materials. This work describes an inherently system composed 4,4′‐diglycidyl (3,3′,5,5′‐tetramethylbiphenyl) (TMBP), 1,2‐dihydro‐2‐(4‐aminophenyl)‐4‐(4‐(4‐aminophenoxy) phenyl) (2H) phthalazin‐1‐one (DAP), and hexa(phenoxy) cyclotriphophazene (HPCTP). The cure kinetics TMBP/DAP in the presence or absence HPCTP were investigated using isoconversional method by means...

Abstract Based on the self‐condensation of hexakis(methoxymethyl)melamine (HMMM), condensation between HMMM and phenol formaldehyde novolac resin (n‐PF), addition reaction diglycidyl ether biphenyl A (DGEBA) n‐PF, a homogeneous, transparent hybrid thermoset was prepared via in situ polymerization DGEBA, HMMM. No phase separations were observed even for DGEBA/n‐PF/HMMM containing 40 wt % These thermosets had high glass‐transition temperatures (98–127°C from differential scanning calorimetry...

Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV), an enteric coronavirus, is widely spread worldwide and causes huge economic losses. The effective measure to control the viral infection develop ideal vaccines. Here, monomeric core epitope domain (COE) of PEDV was displayed on surface nanoparticles (NPs) in order a newer, safer more subunit vaccine against PEDV. Multivalent presentation of antigens using nanoparticles (NPs) as a platform is an effective strategy to enhance the immunogenicity subunit vaccines and thus induce high level organismal immune response. Our previous results showed that pre-existing porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) antibodies could increase antibody levels nanoparticle carried in PCV2 VLPs. Here, we have established generalized nanoantigen display platform, Cap-Cat virus-like particles (VLPs). By combining VLPs with modular...

Abstract MiR-146a plays as diverse roles in systemic malignancies, stimulating the tumor growth or blocking proliferation. However, its breast cancer stem-like cells are barely known. We first identified suppressive role of miR-146a stem cells' renewal, promoting asymmetric division cells, and expression was positively related with Let-7b level vitro clinical specimens. Previous studies Let-7 revealed functions expansion, miR-146 predicated to target bind 3'UTR LIN28, a negative regulator...
