Introduction Stroke patients with hemiplegia are at an increased risk of falling during sit-to-stand (Si-St) and stand-to-sit (St-Si) tasks, partly due to impaired bilateral lower limb symmetry. Maintaining symmetrical movement between the limbs in these tasks can help reduce fall incidence. Method This study aimed investigate symmetry Si-St St-Si stroke compare their performance healthy controls. Thirteen 13 controls participated study. Participants were instructed perform 30-s chair stand...

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a worldwide chronic autoimmune inflammatory disease which affecting approximately 1% of the total population. It characterized by abnormal proliferation fibroblast-like synoviocytes (FLS) and increased production proinflammatory cytokines. In current study, we were aiming to investigate role ubiquitin-specific protease 5 (USP5) in process RA-FLS. Expression USP5 was found upregulated RA-FLS compared with that osteoarthritis- (OA-) FLS, IL-1 β stimulation...

Synergistic mild photothermal/nanozyme therapy with outstanding hyperthermia performance and excellent multienzyme properties is highly needed for osteosarcoma treatment. Herein, we have developed efficient single-atom nanozymes (SANs) consisting of Mn sites atomically dispersed on nitrogen-doped carbon nanosheets (denoted as Mn-SANs) synergistic photothermal/multienzymatic against osteosarcoma. Benefiting from their black N-doped nanosheet matrices, Mn-SANs showed an NIR-II-triggered...
