適切な来院間隔によるサポーティブペリオドンタルセラピー(SPT)の実施は,歯周炎の再発防止と歯周組織の安定の維持に有効である。新型コロナウイルス感染症(COVID-19)の蔓延に伴い,歯科医療機関への受診控えが多数生じたことを背景に,本研究では2019年10月~2020年3月と2020年4月以降に実施した歯周病検査値から,プロービング深さ(PD),プロービング時の出血(BOP)割合(FMBS),プラークコントロールレコード(PCR),歯周炎症表面積(PISA),歯周上皮表面積(PESA)を抽出し,予約延期日数との関係を解析した。SPT移行後1年以上継続して来院している対象患者633名中,219名(34.60%)が2020年4月以降の予約を延期した。SPT時のリスクアセスメント(PRA)を参考に,5...
Enamel matrix derivative (EMD) has demonstrated beneficial effects on wound healing following surgery. However, the of recombinant human fibroblast growth factor 2 (rhFGF-2) in periodontal regeneration therapy have not been extensively studied. This retrospective study was conducted to compare outcomes modified papilla preservation technique (mPPT) between EMD and rhFGF-2 therapies.
