Until 2023, North Macedonia had not reported a Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) case for >50 years. In 2024, increased clinical vigilance identified and characterized 2 novel CCHF cases. A 26-year-old man from North Macedonia developed tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) after a tick bite in Switzerland, experiencing severe neurological symptoms before full recovery. This case highlights the importance of vaccination and awareness for travellers non-endemic regions visiting TBE-endemic areas.

Abstract Brucella thyroiditis represents an extremely rare focal form of brucellosis.
