Three N-H functionalized metal-organic frameworks, Pb-DDQ, Zn-DDQ, and Cu-DDQ, were synthesized with a new flexible dicarboxylate ligand based on quinoxaline (H2DDQ = N,N'-dibenzoic acid-2,3-diaminoquinoxaline).
