Both one- and two-phase techniques offered at different centres. 90% of relapses recognised to occur locally using radiotherapy alone. The objective this evaluation was determine pattern relapse following concomitant with temozolomide (RT-TMZ). Methods: A retrospective analysis patients receiving RT-TMZ between 2006 2010 performed. Abstract Background Breast angiosarcomas are rare tumours of vascular origin. Secondary angiosarcoma occurs following radiotherapy for breast cancer. Angiosarcomas have high recurrence and poor survival rates. This is concerning owing to the increasing use adjuvant treatment invasive cancer ductal in situ (DCIS), which could explain rising incidence angiosarcoma. Outcome data limited provide a evidence base treatment. paper presents national, trainee-led, retrospective, multicentre study...

Positron emission tomography with CT (PET/CT) scanning is increasingly being used in head and neck cancer to assess response after radical concomitant chemoradiotherapy. The purpose of this study was the use PET/CT following chemoradiotherapy at our institution. All patients receiving for over a 9-year period were retrospectively identified. Outcome data including local control overall survival collected all patients. negative predictive value recurrence calculated. Of those reported positive...

Background: Sarcomas are rare and heterogeneous tumours with a large proportion of patients requiring palliative intervention. They regarded as relatively radioresistant therefore achieving good palliation radiation may require larger doses than for more common solid tumour types. Limited data is available regarding appropriate radiotherapy dose fractionation. This case series aims to assess the effectiveness in providing symptomatic improvement advanced sarcomas. Method: Data was...
