The effect of albendazole was studied in 12 patients with cystic hydatid disease (CHD) the liver. Six received continuously for 6 months, while courses 4 weeks a 2 week drug-free interval between cycles. continuous therapy proved successful, stable involution at follow-up 24 treated discontinuous showed improvement or relapse.
