Corrected detector acceptance resolution effects, evaluated to be AFB=(10.6±3.0)%. Results are consistent standard model predictions which range from 5.0% 8.8%. also...
We present the observation of doubly-produced $J/\psi$ mesons with D0 detector at Fermilab in $p\bar{p}$ collisions $\sqrt{s}=1.96$ TeV. The production cross section for both singly and is measured using a sample an integrated luminosity 8.1fb$^{-1}$. For first time, double separated into contributions due to single parton scatterings. Using these measurements, we determine effective $\sigma_{eff}$, parameter characterizing spatial area parton-parton interactions related density inside nucleon.
Abstract Construction of an e + - Higgs factory has been identified as a major goal for particle physics. Such collider will offer precise measurements the bosons couplings to other particles. A extendable in energy can also establish self-coupling, measure coupling top quark, and expand reach probe new phenomena. We propose strategy energy-extendable based on linear accelerator technology. This offers compact cost-effective design that could be realized project US. The core technologies...
The D0 Collaboration has performed a measurement of the top quark mass mt based on six candidate events for process tt¯→bW+b¯W−, where W bosons decay to eν or μν. We obtain mt=168.4±12.3(stat)±3.6(syst)GeV/c2, consistent with obtained using single-lepton events. Combination and dilepton results yields mt=172.0±7.5GeV/c2.Received 16 June...
We present an improved determination of the total width top quark, ${\ensuremath{\Gamma}}_{t}$, using $5.4\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ integrated luminosity collected by D0 Collaboration at Tevatron $p\overline{p}$ Collider. The ${\ensuremath{\Gamma}}_{t}$ is extracted from partial decay $\ensuremath{\Gamma}(t\ensuremath{\rightarrow}Wb)$ and branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(t\ensuremath{\rightarrow}Wb)$. obtained $t$-channel single top-quark production cross section...

Abstract Colliders are essential research tools for particle physics. Numerous future collider proposal were discussed in the course of US high energy physics community strategic planning exercise Snowmass'21 . The Implementation Task Force (ITF) has been established to evaluate proposed accelerator projects performance, technology readiness, schedule, cost, and environmental impact. Corresponding metrics developed uniform comparison proposals ranging from Higgs/EW factories multi-TeV...
